During a miserable month of February weather-wise in London, our stay over Valentines weekend at Lavender and Lace with my girlfriend made for a delightful break from it all. Both Tina and Paul were very welcoming and friendly. Had a good conversation with them and the other guests over breakfast and made to feel more than just another punter; it... More

This is the third time I have stayed at this 'home from home' B&B. My first visit actually changed my life as when I returned home my husband and I viewed a local closed pub that was for sale, put our house on the market and 11 months later began the renovations. Three years on we too have a B&B.... More

We stayed at this lovely B&B for a weekend and as soon as we arrived - even if it was late afternoon - we felt more than welcomed, thaks to Tina and her nice smile. The room was really cosy and very clean. We even had a bookshelf with magazines and books. The bathroom has shower and bath, and also... More

This lovely, quaint B and B was one of the finds of our short stay in this lovely old town. The host, Tina and Paul, couldn't have been more accommodating, you only had to ask and they would go out of their way to help. We stayed in the top floor bedroom suite, small but perfectly formed. The bath had... More

We stayed at Lavender and Lace for the weekend in early September and it was excellent. We received a warm welcome and the room was comfortable and spotlessly clean. The house is old and imaginatively furnished with many interesting artefacts in the breakfasting room. First rate breakfast. The house is only minutes from the sea and the new Jerwood Art... More

Home from home - thank you Paul and Tina for a wonderful stay, it was comfy, extremely clean and loved the decor. My husband is still raving about the breakfast, he has not had a better one anywhere. The whole experience staying here was amazing really relaxing and next door to the pub!

My daughter and I stayed in this wonderful B&B for three nights and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone staying in Hastings.Tina and Paul were excellent hosts and made us feel so welcome. The whole place was spotlessly clean and so homely. The beds were crisp and comfortable, and all the little extra touches like bath robes and gorgeous toiletries made... This really is a lovely little B&B. It is situated in the old town of Hastings and is perfectly positioned to explore all the antique/second hand stores. It is a home from home and Tina & Paul are very friendly and helpful. There is no car park attached to the B&B, however there is one just over the road, but... More

This is the second one-night stay we have had at Lavender & Lace. Tina and Paul are wonderful hosts and their love of their B&B shines through. Our room was beautiful and so cosy, with every little detail thought through, from lovely linen and towels, books and magazines, tea, coffee, biscuits and water and nice bath and shampoo accessories. Lovely little cottage tucked away in Old Town, Hastings. The welcome from Tina was very warm and we felt at home straight away. Fantastic location, wonderful breakfasts, clean and comfortable beds and rooms and lots of recommendations on what to see and where to dine. Excellent value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
