Stayed two nights with friends, excellent rooms and as good a breakfast as we have had in any hotel. Brendan was the perfect host and Harriet made us feel really welcome. You just get a feeling of home from home as you can relax in the lounge with a real fire and honesty bar. There is plenty of books and... More

we booked swan house for our guests who attended our civil partership at the old rectory. they couldn't welcome our guest in a warmer way and have been super accomodating. We visited the venue before booking and everything is so cute and spotless.we had to have this venue for our cherished guests .The team has been so sweet and professional... More

I have just checked out and feel moved to immediately report some of the best customer service I have experienced. I stayed one night in the Garden Room at short notice. From the beginning, communication with Brendan and his staff was both pleasant and helpful. I felt special even before I arrived. They have a great standard pricing policy and... More

The Swan House is so good you think you're in a hotel, not a B&B. We stayed in the Renaissance room and absolutely loved its charm and exquisite design. Brendan is an informative and attentive host who really looks after you. The location is superb and minutes from the beach or the charm of the Old Town. Oh and the... More

I booked 6 of us in to the Swan after previously staying at the sister accommodation The Old Rectory which was super, I think the Swan has slightly pipped them at the post for us, mainly because it was smaller so the 6 of us pretty much had the place to ourselves, Brendan was fabulous, such a perfect host casual... Swan House is a beautiful building, just off the best shopping streets of the Old Town. Everything about the house is stylish and the service is first class. Nothing was too much trouble for Brendan and his team and we had a perfect two days there. When we foolishly left a necklace in our room, Brendan found it and returned... More

If you are looking to spoil yourself, relax, unwind and generally get away from it all this is the place to come and visit. Brendan and his team make the stay really enjoyable. Breakfast is just wonderful and something to really look forward to when getting up of a morning. I am still missing the smoothy Brendan made freshly every... More

You have a stressful, tiring job - you decide to take a break by the sea and happen across this guest house. Within ten minutes, you're coming down to a different pace, thanks largely to the young team's warm welcome and Brendan's calming manner and Irish lilt. Very prettily decorated and furnished, this is boutique comfort. A supremely cosy room... More

A warm welcome from harriet and jess before settling down by the fire with hot drinks and cookies. Met host brendan, who gave tips for local food and drinking places, all within easy walk. Close to seafront and shops, though parking is a few minutes away. The room is so cosy we dont want to leave!

My husband and two sons stayed in the connecting family rooms at the Swan House and just loved it. Brendan and Harriet were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. The rooms were gorgeous and the breakfast was fantastic. I highly recommend it.
