Everything was generally clean and welcoming. The staff were amazingly attentive and friendly, going out of their way to be helpful, which is not something usually expected in a Travelodge from experience. A pleasant surprise also to find that the car park was on site, rather than a little way down the road as implied on the website; shame they... More

Staff were friendly, although the TV didn't work very good, it kept breaking up, the guttering outside was broken causing the heavy rain to drip onto the roof of a lower level all night. The next morning we found the bath shower mixer tap was broken and there was no running hot water at all coming from it. The hand... More

I don't normally write reviews but just wanted to say how nice my stay was. Clean, lovely breakfasts and a Very friendly team. Big thanks to the Manager David who was brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend. Thank you :)

So I had to work away from my general base of operations and got work to book me into a hotel. The travel lodge was great and very good value for money. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was excellently turned out and the bed was comfortable. So if your looking for somewhere to stay for work... More

My wife & I arrived on a Friday evening for a one night stay in a double room. We found a car parking space easily & made our way to check-in when we realised we had to pay for car parking. With £3 duly paid, we battled through the second-hand cigarette smoke just outside the front door & made our... More

We recently stayed for 2 nights at this Travelodge. It is well positioned about 10 mins walk to the centre ( although the walk back uphill takes a little longer ! ) We were allocated room 208 which is at the back and is very quiet. We had a problem with this room as it had a very musty damp... More

I never thought I'd write this review. Read on! We stay here 3 or 4 times a year as a base for family visits and over the years have not come to expect much, only staying on budget deals. We had a problem with our last stay. In the past complaints and requests have been pretty much ignored. Imagine our... More

The Travelodge has been refurbished since I last they'd there 2 years ago very clean and smart The only things I don't like is if you are there for more than 1 night there is no where to put your cloths other than coat hangers. We where there for 6 nights so everything stayed in our cases I think there... More

Arrived at 8.30 sat eve reception very helpful and efficient. Our room was a little cold when we arrived and took a while to warm up. Not to much noise from other guests during the night so slept pretty well. The bathroom was reasonably clean but no bath mat was supplied and there is little room for a shower as... More

Ive been to my fair share of Travellodges and this is by far the best one, it was clean & tidy. The staff were all so friendly, gave me advice on places to go and visit. Didnt have to pay for car parking as the machine wasnt working - BONUS. There were enough car park spaces for everyone, and even... More
