I stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Some staff are great and some not so much. The room is fine. Nice and clean. I had great food one night and sent it back the next. To be fair they made an effort to make this right. The worse part was my room smelt of smoke. Yuk. They couldn't move me... More

Not only a good first impression but for a little hotel the impression was good throughout. This was mainly due to receptionist Barbara who was charming and genuinely welcoming. We actually felt as if we were being welcomed. The hotel is old but with character rather than grotty, and I love the stone flags at the entrance which are rather... More

Hotel was clean but very basic but I guess you get what you pay for. Poor facilities for children only 1 high chair and no baby changing facilities. Breakfast wasn't great. Staff friendly and helpful.

Hotel is newly refurbished and the best Travelodge I've stayed in, as the common-ways were actually rather stylish, done out in oak, with stone flagstone floors, set in rather nice mature parkland. Immaculately clean room, and handy-ish for Hastings centre (10 minute walk). Staff were exceptionally friendly.

Not posh but clean enough, does what is says so no complaints - v.good value if u you book early. Nice location for us, some bits a bit tired: rear car park, which is charged at £3 a day is a disgrace, bathroom a bit grubby in corners, Towels torn: bed comfortable room warm and quiet, plenty of hot water-... Hotel was clean but very basic. Room temperature was quite cold. There were no added extras to the room eg toiletries, hairdryer or iron. There was no mat for the bathroom so had to use the hand towel. The car park was extremely dark I couldn't even see my car when I went back to it to put a permit... More

Reading others reviews and totally confused!!! Here goes with an honest account of my visit...Arrived in the evening and no parking around the front, (all taken) but no worries as plenty to the rear. Ah but actually, yes worry. Pitch black. Couldn't see your hand in front of your face. All the lights out. Considering they charge to park and... More
