Hastings travelodge is very near the sea 5/10mins walking distance, which was excellent. It was also half way up a hill from the beach, this turned out to be good as we walked all the time and I have felt the benefits (by the way Hastings is naturally hilly) There is parking facilities for disabled. First impression was that you... More

Only stayed for one evening but having stayed in a fair few different travelodge locations in recent months, this was a very positive experience. The room was of good standard and the food was also very good. The highlight was the lovely, friendly member of staff Beryl, who made us feel very welcome and was a pleasure to meet.

If you are looking for a place to stay where you can get to the many local places of interest in East Sussex you will be hard to better this hotel located a short walk from the centre of Hastings and from the sea front. It is a very quiet hotel with a small restaurant supplying a good range of... More

Have just returned from Hastings with my daughter and her 2 young children. The Travelodge was ideal as we were in a family room. This was a large room with space for the beds and floor space to play on. The staff were all very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. There is a large green opposite for children to... More

We felt really sorry for the few staff in this travelodge who worked so hard but couldn't possibly hope to fix all the problems with our room. General cleanliness was really poor, coffee or something splashed up all the tiles in the bathroom, other stains up the walls in the main room and holes in the bedding. The socket behind... More

We stayed a Sunday night while visiting family in the town. Our second stay. This is basic accommodation but acceptable for the price we paid. A large room with kettle, tea and coffee. The room was very hot but we had a fan in the room and this made a big difference. Did not try the breakfast so can't comment.... More

Having never stayed at a Travelodge before, I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the room and the bed. only 1 hand towel per room, no bath mat and little hanging space or other storage....

The hotel is situated around half a mile from the new town centre, which lies at the bottom of a hill. Car parking is available on site at the cost of £3 per 24 hrs. Inside, the hotel is bright but do not expect any lavish soft furnishings in public areas. The name of the game here is functionality above... More

I just stayed the one night in July. Yes it was hot, it's summer! I cannot believe people complaining about the heat, I have stayed in many 5 star hotels that are much worse. More to the point the staff were well aware of this and had taken as many measures as they could. The beds were made up with... More
