Had a lovely 2 nights here. Staff could not have been more helpful they were wonderful. Close to the seafront and although a hill to walk up to get back, it helps work off the ice creams! We would stay again.

On our return we did see some décor improvements, the staff were brilliant, carried our case to room and offered help to the car un-prompted ! The dining room was not very warming but functional, food was well presented but limited on choice, as was the NO British Beer policy Travelodge seem to operate! You have to pay for the... More

We stayed one night in a disabled access double on the ground floor. The room was clean and very comfortable and the bed mattess, pillows and duvet ensured that we had a very good night's sleep. We prebooked the full breakfast which was great value with lots of choice including juices, cereals, muffins, croissants, yogurts and a selection of hot... More

Situated up a hill, near enough to walk into town (the walk back up hill is good exercise to work off the Fish and Chips you've probably eaten on the seafront). Parking was £3 per day and plenty of spaces. The bar is used in the morning for breakfast, but this is a quantity over quality buffet. During the evening... More

The first impact is not good. You get out of the car, stretch, and instead of a sign like "Welcome!", there's one which shouts at you "Have you paid?" and the path between the car park and the entrance is littered with threats making it clear that, unless you put at least £3 in the machine before you enter the... This travelodge could really do with a bit of upgrading as it has a bit of a 'down at heel' air about it. However, it is good value for money considering prices in the area during school holidays. Request a ground floor room, as there is no lift. We had a room on the lower ground floor, down 3 flights... More

Excellent overnight stay, very quiet location and very friendly and helpful staff. Nearer St. Leonards, not actually in Hastings town centre but that actually made it quieter and with a car was not a problem. Great family room with plenty of space for 2 almost adult size teenagers. Really impressed as not all Travel lodges are this good.

Stayed for one night at the beginning of August as we had escaped from Pontins in Camber Sands and needed a place to stay in a hurry. As a clean and basic accommodation for the night it served its purpose but I would not have wanted to spend another night in this hotel. First of all - parking. Available but... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Travelodge in Hastings - nice sized room which was clean and the bed was comfy. The staff were very nice and friendly but I thought they were expected to cover all tasks in the hotel and that seemed a bit unfair. The restaurant could be so much better if a chef was employed... the... More

Travelodge advertise their hotels as cheap. Whether this is true depends upon which nights you want to stay - they load up the price on popular days and discount heavily on less popular days. We paid an average of £80 per room including breakfast over four nights in late July. Given the quality of accommodation (ie spacious and clean with... More
