We booked this hotel based mostly on the trip advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. There is a convenient car park out the back which didn't get full when we stayed (but it was cold January). The room had no view and it was down a warren of stairs and corridors, but the bed was comfortable and the shower worked... More

We were only in Hastings for a couple of hours on our drive around East Sussex and fancied a coffee. This hotel had outside seating overlooking the sea which looked very inviting, especially as it was a lovely morning.i went inside to order some coffees and the waitress I saw was pleasant enough and said she would bring them out.... It was a shame I didn't arrive earlier to take advantage of the really appealing dinner menu - it was a bit late so just had the anti pasti which was great though. The staff were really friendly and helpful,. The room was very clean and I didn't want to get out of bed the next morning. Also appreciated there... More

Spent one night here rather expensive and no breakfast included ! Clean modern hotel room was rather small and couldn't open the French doors to let air in. Bed king size was comfortable and bath was nice and large. Forgot our toothpaste but the hotel had run out so couldn't help. Not good. Ideal location on front opposite pier. Nice... More

I stay here all the time with my work and love it. It has become a home from home for me with the comfortable rooms, most have a big bathtub, good selection of channels etc. The food and drink are excellent and the "Jill" is a perfect size breakfast to start the day. The staff are fantastic and you feel... More

After a busy January we decided to take a one night stay in Hastings, we chose here as we do not like guest houses. The welcome was really warm we were shown to our room by a lovely receptionist. I requested a sea view which we were given. The car park is adequate, but it would help if people could... More

We visited Hastings on the spur of the moment and made a walk in booking, we paid an additional £20 for a sea view as we were there during the high winds and storms and fancied watching from the warmth of our hotel room. My only gripe was that our room was on the third floor and the windows are... More

Took a trip to Hastings to visit a relative who is one of St Leonard's on Sea's many nursing homes. I had a great weekend. The White Rock is an excellent hotel with a great bar and brilliant proper English breakfast. I had a double room (although on my own) with a sea view and the bath was surprisingly large... More

What a brilliant place. From the revolving doors, quirky corridoors and rooms, friendly staff, we could not ask for a nicer place to stay. I took hubby away for his birthday, had never booked a break before so was a little nervous, the lady on the end of the phone could'nt have been any more helpful. We were shown to... More
