This is a well run hotel. Rooms were great, staff great, breakfast great, dinner great-why one star review? The rooms are just too hot, there is no air con and the windows only open a few inches I stayed exactly a year ago and had the same complaints but nothing has changed except a fan in the room which doesn't do the trick... an unpretentious clean budget hotel showing signs of cosmetic wear.Breakfast expensive relative to the cost for an overnight stay but reasonable value.Dinner quality and service were poor as was the menu offered - would avoid in future

We used this hotel for a weekend break and was very pleased we did. It was far cheaper than staying in Hastings and after looking round Hastings I was pleased with our decision. Staff were helpful and staff in the attached Brewers Fayre were extremely pleasant. Would use again without hesitation.

When we arrived the whole of the car park had been taken over by builders. The first morning at 8.30 am there were terrible banging noises where the whole hotel was being renovated. We complained and were moved to the ground floor where the noise could still be heard. The receptionist said that news of the building work was on... More

The room and bathroom were very clean, modern and well lit. Most notable were the comfort of the bed, duvet and pillows. A large flat screen TV offered the full range of freeview digital channels. Free fast speed wi-fi was available for 30 minutes a day after which a charge applied. It was a pity that this was limited time... More

We travelled with a small child and the room was relatively child friendly (no trailing wires etc) I could have done with some duct tape to tape up the low drawers but that's not Premier Inn's fault! They provided extra towels and a non slip mat when we asked for them. The room was clean, tidy and bravo for the... More

we booked for the location, not the hotel, but we came away talking about just how lovely the staff are. every person we met was engaging and helpful, and the evening restaurant staff were particularly helpful. when there was confusion about whether we wanted something as a first course, the fellow from the kitchen came and found us to be... We recently stayed at the hotel, first time at this particular one but have visited numerous Premier Inn's. The hotel room was good as it was at the back and therefore no noise from the main road. Breakfast was a little dissapointing due to the fact the hotel was quite full but only had one person doing breakfast, he seem... More

We were delighted to stay at this premier Inn on Good Friday night. It is actually in St Leonards just outside Hastings.Easy to find on sat nav as on a main road. We had a bad experience at another Premier Inn (Polegate) and this was a free night as compensation. The room was excellent standard, just refurbished with flat screen TV. and... More
