We needed a hotel in Hastings short notice and we knew along the coast this time of year it would be hard to find a hotel with vacancies at such a short notice. This was the only hotel that had vacancies for the one night and I now know why. on arrival our first impressions were okay as it was... More

Hotel is in a good location but that's about all breakfast is not worth it food was cold and juice was warm, rooms are outdated beds uncomfortable you need your own pillow we had four each and they were hard and flat. Staff friendly I would not stay again.

The hotel is in a very central location, next to the beach and about 5-7 mins walk to the Old Town and all the attractions. The staff were friendly, helpful and were more than happy to keep our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. The room was ok, the interior was a bit old but everything... More

After reading the reviews on this place I knew I wasn't coming to anyway great, unfortunately this was all that was available at the time because the Old Town carnival was on so everywhere else was fully booked. If The Chatsworth charged around £30 for a double room I might just consider staying here again, (I truly believe that's all... More

do stay here. lovely value hotel in a handy location on seafront. staff were welcoming and attentive. rooms are somewhat dated but have a lovely cosiness that is welcoming. there is a useful lift to help you reach upper floors and rooms, with corridors being carpeted to help reduce noise. i will stay here again with great pleasure.

Stayed Saturday 2.8.14 the bed linen was clean thank goodness but the room was shocking and need updating, the one window didn't have a handle to open it and there was damp all over the walls by the windows, I tried to tell the receptionist quietly but chose to speak to me in front of other quests, she wrote it... Have stayed here for 2 years running for the Hastings Pirate Day. It's cheap, and you get what you pay for really. The staff couldn't be more helpful, or friendlier, but the hotel really needs a bit of a makeover. The bedrooms are comfortable enough, and you do get tea/coffee making stuff in the room, but goodneww the rooms need... More

Hotel in great location however you are expecting more for the price you pay. Nice view but hotel quite old and some major work needs to be done. Overall experience wasn't too bad but could have been better.

You get what you pay for and for £60 a night even that was too much for this hotel. The room was shabby and jaded and the bed saw my husband and I roll together all night as it sagged in the middle . The bathroom fared no better with discoloured grout and cracked tiles. My advice look elsewhere in... More

Stayed here for 3 nights last week, booking 5 twin rooms. Without fail every day there were issues with people's key cards stopping working. At one point the chap had to remove the whole door handle to let people back in the room (I should add that this was very late at night too!!). I can't emphasise enough how frustrating... More
