Overall the hotel was nice and I found the staff very friendly and helpful at the time of check in. They were able to recommend somewhere cheaper to park as they do not have a car park and the room was clean and comfortable. However, reading the review below, I can relate to this. We did not have breakfast, but... More

Absolutely shocking !! The staff especially the female receptionist !! She needs to maybe retrain in customer service before she actually was shouting at me and using rude language they had stole money from my bank account and would not refund it and I had to get my bank to return it as I reported it as fraud ! The... More

We stayed one night here on Hastings seafront at a very reasonable price, and received excellent service from start to finish. Staff were friendly, helpful and passionate about their jobs, the hotel was very clean and well-kept, and the room peaceful with a sea view. Curtains were proper black-out type, so sleep was excellent. We ate in the in-house Indian... More

A large Victorian hotel very reasonably priced which is what is most important to many people these days, and to be on the seafront and in the town centre are added bonuses. The rooms are perfectly comfortable and clean, the bathrooms are neglected and somewhat grubby. The place could do with tarting up a little but then the prices would... More

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at! Where to begin?? Constant banging of doors throughout the night, we could hear every noise from the guests in the room above and I mean every noise!! The hotel has an Indian restaurant downstairs so the smell of spicy food every time we stood by the window (which actually overlooked the bins!) was... More

2 nights as a present to us. Based on some of the reviews I wasn't too much looking forward. Mistake. Very efficient, extremely friendly & helpful staff, room/linen etc. fresh & clean. There is always an element of "get real" in terms of expectations from a hotel. We would say that Chatsworth is what it says it is & in... More

I last stayed here about 4 years ago and even though the decor or furnishings have not changed i happened to get acorner sea view room and the view was just out of this world. So sad see the burnt out pier. Weather was fantastic for September. I even had dinner in their Jali restaurant which i will review seperately... More

We stayed at the Chatsworth during the Hastings carnival week, (August) we have stayed several times before, the hotel is comfortable, clean, with friendly staff, it was £180 for three nights for a double room, we had a sea view this time which is always a bonus. We don't have breakfast in the hotel which costs £7 each we prefer... More

I stayed for one night at the Chatsworth Hotel, the staff were very friendly and attentive when ever help was needed. The hotel is a clean 3 star, and good value for money, it is not a 5 star hotel and the decor reflects this, however it is in a great location and a good budget hotel. The town center... More
