I once again stayed at the Chatsworth Hotel while I was in Hastings for a training weekend (9th - 11th Jan) and the stay I had was completely faultless. I was staying in room 314 and it was very clean (just as I'd requested) and had a beautiful view of the Hastings seafront. The staff - once again - were... More

Stayed at this hotel for one night due to a family birthday party being held here. The rooms are basic but functional . Decor is dated and needs refurb. The room we had was very dark and dreary (room 207) the only positive I can think of was that the bed was very comfortable and I slept well. Staff were... More

I needed a overnight stay in Hastings and further to reading the reviews of the Chatsworth I decided to give it a go. The room was reasonably priced, as it wasn't booked in advance, clean and comfortable with a nice bathroom. Nice TV and tea / coffee making facilities it was ideal for what I required. There were a couple... More

We were greeted by a very sullen receptionist who clearly did not enjoy her job! We paid extra for a sea view, but the windows were so dirty it was not worth the extra. Someone had climbed out of the window as there were muddy footprints all over both windowsills and muddy footprints on the carpets - the bath was... More

Room was compact but clean and comfortable,I had a sea front room but there was no noise considering it was October with high wind and rain.Would recommend. The only down side was the lack of parking, although sea front parking is free from 18.00 hrs until 09.00

I stayed here after attending a show and as soon as I walked in I got greeted by a really friendly woman on reception, she offered me all the different information i required and was very polite and courteous. After speaking with her I ventured up to my room - it was a very cozy and neat room. The bathroom... More

I stayed at the Chatsworth Hotel on Saturday night with my wife. Originally I had the Bannatyne SPA hotel booked for £220 per night. But, on reflection, and with a few expensive overseas trips coming up, we decided to save some pennies and booked into the Chatsworth. The location is great, right on the seafront, and its a £4 taxi... More

Have stayed on two occasions recently on an Amazon deal. Based on the price paid we could not complain. The staff were nice and friendly. The hotel is dated in terms of room colour schemes but the main areas were all decently carpeted and clean. Our first visit in a sea front room was lovely but a bit noisy due... More

Just returned from 3 nights stay and wanted to balance some of the bad comments. The hotel is across the road from the beach but unfortunately there is a 3 lane busy main road in between which seems to have constant traffic. Parking can be a problem and an additional expense. The room was a bit tired and the bed... More

Stayed here for one night in August. The lady at check in was very friendly and helpful. I had a single seafront room. My room wasn't clean. Bed linen was okay. There was only one pillow on the bed. Bath/shower was filthy. The most shocking thing was poo stains on the toilet roll, dirty stains, it should have been removed... More
