Wasn't expecting much due to the cheap price and previous reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Checked in at 4pm - staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable - we had a seaview room with a balcony. It was beautiful seeing the sun rise in the morning from the bed! We spent two nights at Astral... More

Located on the seafront. However, my room was rather poky and looked out onto another building. the walls seemed rather thin and I could hear dance music played loudly by the occupant in the next room. The bed was comfortable but rather low. Tea and coffee making facilities were available in my room. Soap and one small tube of shower... More

Reception was friendly, check in smooth. We had a family room on the top floor. The location is perfect, right on the seafront, and our room overlooked the sea. It is a short walk to the old town and there is a great little park on the promenade for the children to let off some steam. We were able to... More

Last minute booking for a single room, for 1 night. The room was compact, but clean & comfortable, with a working TV, a chair and place to hang/store clothing. Good powerful shower. Kevin was very helpful with guidance regarding parking (which is something of a challenge on the sea front) & I was directed to the local underground parking at... More

Having read some reviews and seen some photos, we weren't expecting much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming and accommodating (when we asked to check out at 12 instead of 11), the room was perfectly clean and the ensuite bathroom bright and clean too. We knew they didn't do breakfast so just went to Costa's around the... More

This hotel is basic, but very clean, comfortable and ideally located. It was exactly what we were looking for. Everything is within walking distance, which means you can park your car and leave it there until you leave. There is an underground car park nearby if you can't find a parking place in front of the hotel. It is also... More

Went with two young children and my husband for the bank holiday weekend. This was the only room left in Hastings, having been there i can see why it was the only hotel with space! We had the family room, two bunk beds and two beds. The room was not clean and the bathroom clearly had drainage problems as it... More

Staff freindly, the room was clean & comfortable, had a big tv for a small room! Tea making facility, excellent shower.
