The Old Town Guest House is perfectly situated in the heart of the old part of Hastings. The atmosphere is relaxed and everyone is incredibly friendly. My room was pristine on arrival and kept that way throughout my stay: bottles of water replenished each day too. Staying here is a relaxing joy. Tracy and Gavin are a minefield of useful... More

Great value hotel and the ladies were very welcoming. The hotel room was good value and the breakfast was very good. Be aware that there is no parking provided but there are places to park overnight nearby. I would recommend this guest house as a place to stay in old town Hastings!

Back to Hastings and the only choice is the Old Town Guest House. Everything still perfect, from the warm room (despite the freezing wind outside), the nicest landlady (is that still the right term? Doesn't sound right!) you will ever meet and, of course the best breakfast you will get anywhere (muesli, orange juice, an amazing bagel with smoked salmon... More

Our first visit together to Hastings.... A lovely homely Guest House in a Fabulous Location... The write up was honest... Yes., you need to walk up a flight of stairs... The owners were really honest too... Giving us money back on our booking as they had an offer on... They did not need to do this... We would have been... More

We chose a top floor room with en-suite bathroom (bath not shower though a communal one was available next door if we wanted) and sea views over the penny arcade across the road. Room was spacious with Freeview TV, team/coffee/hot choc facility, large wardrobe and writing platform. Sheets were crisp and clean and general cleanliness was high. The room was... More

My husband and I stayed here in October, we had a double en-suite room with a small view of the sea from the bathroom. The room was cosy, bed linen was crisp and clean, and the towels were beautifully white and fluffy (and were changed every day). The complimentary tea, coffee and hot chocolate were well known popular brands, and... More

I decided to do something that I've never done before, and write a review on Trip Advisor. I am a businessman, travel a lot, and usually stay in, to be honest, pretty soulless hotels ... hence why I've never got into the habit of writing reviews! Seen one "Lodge" or "Inn", seen them all. So to find this little gem... More

(Belated review due to length of time overseas). Firstly, I had booked and prepaid for this accommodation. I can only comment on the bedroom that I was allocated and on the communal area. The decision to book this guest house was made from the photographs on the web site, along with the reviews from other guests. I stood at the... More

We had a fantastic couple of nights here for our anniversary with out the little ones. Wonderful welcome and service, a fantastic room and what a sea view. The breakfast was superb, the quality of the ingredients far out does any other hotel/B&B I have stayed in. The location is excellent, with some fabulous little pubs just around the corner,... More

The guest house was everything we hoped it would be from the reviews on this site. Our room was comfortable, clean and cosy, with an amazing view across the fishing boats on the Stade to the Channel beyond. Despite being just off the main road along the front, there was no traffic noise at night, and with the windows open... More
