From the warm welcome on arrival through the comfortable and roomy bedroom to the varied and tasty breakfasts this was the perfect place to stay while enjoying the Jack in the Green May Day celebrations in Hastings. We need to return to sample the rest of the breakfasts as three days was not enough to work our way through the... More

We've just come back from a weekend stay at the Old Rectory and loved it. We stayed in the Rock-a-Nore room, which is billed as quite small, but is actually a lovely size and has an excellent monsoon shower. (It's on the top floor though, so worth bearing in mind if you have any mobility issues!) We really liked the attention... More

The Old Rectory is our new favorite place to stay in Hastings. The house is airy and beautifully decorated with an eclectic mix of antiques and mid-century furnishings. Our room (Ebenezer) was airy, bright and spacious. The lounge and breakfast rooms are lovely. The garden was gorgeous and welcoming. And the breakfasts were of gourmet quality. We were there for... I booked this B+B for a dozen of my friends as part of a celebration for my retirement. The quality of the service and attention to detail was of an exceptionally high standard. The bedrooms rooms are luxurious, the lounge spacious and comfortable and the garden beautiful. The attention to detail to meet the needs of my guests was superb... More

Excellent B+B very happy the rooms were very good quality, the staff were friendly, food was very nice, good central location near the seafront around a few minutes walk away. We stayed for 3 nights and even though we arrived early we got checked in right away Cons: wifi only in lunge or a few rooms, only a few parking... More

Sadly only one night at this lovely B&B - but we will return. Great location on the edge of the old town with plenty of pubs and restaurants withing a few minutes' walk. The B&B is beautifully decorated, furnished and maintained, the welcome is friendly and efficient, the bed as comfortable as you could find and the breakfast delicious, majoring... More

A beautiful front entrance over flowing with lavender in the summer months. The inside is has been completely refurbished to modern clean shabby-chic feel, very Pottery Barn type interior. Bubbly staff there to assist you. Limited parking in the drive, so you may have to street park which is a pain. Excellent location for walking down to the beach etc.... More

We moved to this B&B from a sister site when we found the room there too small. We had a really pleasant stay and were made to feel so welcome. The room was large, the breakfast was great and the location was outstanding.
