This B&B is first rate, in my opinion. The rooms are well furnished and modern, there is everything you need for a comfortable stay. Parking overnight is included in the price, which is a bonus. Keith & Wendy welcomed me on arrival, and made sure I had everything I needed. Cooked Breakfast is extra, but was good quality, and plenty... More

Bit of a chaotic arrival- the steps outside and 'lounge' were overrun with around a dozen people checking out and hanging around waiting for their transport. Having to step over people, my key was left in an outside safety box so I retrieved that and made my way to my room without any contact with anyone from the B&B. (No... More

I was attending an event in town so chose this B&B as it was very close to where I needed to be. I was warmly welcomed and shown to my room via a grand, but very wobbly, staircase. However, I did inwardly laugh when I was told that men would not be allowed in my room (very Carry On..). Breakfast... More

Stayed here on a Saturday night. A pleasant welcome and shown to our room which was at the back of the hotel. Nicely situated within easy reach of all the seafront attractions and the shopping centre. Unfortunately the hotel backs onto a street which is full of clubs and pubs where the Neanderthals leaving these establishments shout and scream at... More

Amazing location - front rooms offer a sea view and you are no more than a couple of minutes walk to the centre of town. The room we stayed in was quite small, and felt cramped - there was really no need for a writing desk - especially as there was no chair that fitted under it - the wardrobe... More

This place is comfortable and in a good location along the foreshore. Excellent fast WiFi and free convenient parking. Hosts are nice folk too. Rooms are smallish so you may be cramped if you have lots of gear. Stairs no lift but the stairs are wide so weren't any problem. Stayed 3 nights and glad we did.

My husband and I have just returned from a 2 night stay. Rooms were very clean and the sea view was amazing. I think that "The Alexander" is very good value for money. Staff are very friendly too and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Location of hotel is great too ☺️.

We booked through laterooms at 10pm, and left london to drive to Hastings arriving just after midnight. We arrived exhausted and I rang the door bell. Waited. No answer. Rang a second door bell. Waited, no answer. Called the number of the hotel reception. Guess what? Yes, no answer. Waited outside in the cold, late at night around 3 minutes... More

It surprises me that trip advisor allow a review like this to be posted when a guest has not even stayed at our establishment. We are a small guest house run by myself and my wife and not a hotel which I think this reviewer thought he had booked!! We use national booking sites such as late rooms to help... More
