Graham and Michael are very friendly and welcoming hosts, we stay here every time we come to brighton and advise all our friends to do so. We like it so much we stayed there after our Civil Ceremony in Brighton as they make you feel so welcome. The bed and breakfast itself is quaint and quirky, all rooms have their... more

A very warm welcoming guesthouse to recommend also for families. Graham & Michael are fantastic, so helpful and friendly, making our stay go smooth and a real pleasure. Michael cooks the best English breakfast I've ever tasted! The children had their own twin bedroom right in front of ours, with free DVDs if they wanted. It's a very happy friendly place... more

Booked Rowland Hotel last minute after looking at reviews on here and was not dissappointed. I turnt up earlier than normal check-in but this wasn't any problem and I was shown to my room immediately. The room I was in was very clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The location was great only a few minutes walk to the beach... more

What can I add? The previous reviewers have already said it all. The location is excellent, the guys running it are so helpful and the breakfasts are great. Nothing is too much trouble for Michael and Graham, you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The biggest compliment I could give would be to say it felt like I had... more

A small group of us stayed at the Rowland. Everything about the hotel was fantastic. The location was just right-very near the start of St James Street (i.e-start of various bars, eateries and shops) and when you turn the corner at the end of the road the hotel is you spot the sea front a 1min stroll away! The hotel... more

We enjoyed our 4 days staying in Brighton at the Rowland House very much. It was much better than we could expect and Michael & Graham were very friendly and kind persons. The house was very clean, had excellent breakfast and is very close to the centre. What more do you still need ? Filip & Olga and William (Belgium) more

I saw this B&B by chance on a website, then saw the reviews on trip-advisor so decided to go ahead and book - and i wasn't dissapointed! From the start both Graham and Micheal were incredibly helpful with booking the rooms (we were a hen weekend wih various changes in the line up and room sizes needed). When we arrived... more
