I stayed for a weekend with my wife in July 2008. We had been to Brighton before but not stayed at Bannings. The atmosphere was very friendly and the decor fresh and up to date. The rooms were good size and as a B & B novelty, the shower was actually big enough to hold an adult! The bed was... more

After seeing all the great reviews on the website, we decided to choose Number 14 for a romantic weekend in Brighton, and we were not disappointed. The room was very nice, clean and cozy, the location is great, and the morning breakfast was absolutely delicious :). Next time we return to Brighton, we will definitely come back! more

This small B&B is in a convenient location in Brighton, close to the restaurants and shops in both St James Street and Kempstown. The two hosts, Terry and Chris, are excellent hosts and the strongest recommendation. They are knowledgeable, helpful and a pleasure to be with. Our room, although a little small, was spotless, and a comfortable bed. The en-suite contained... more

Just come back from a lovely weekend in Brighton. Number 14 is excellent, delicious breakfasts, (such a great selection!) and Terry and Chris are great hosts. Friendly and welcoming and they helped make the weekend a success. The bed and the room were homely and comfortable. We would definetly stay here again! more

Number 14 was very clean and the hosts Chris and Terry friendly and welcoming. Breakfast great. Parking nearby easily arranged. Short walk to the centre and even shorter to the sea front. We would definitely stay here again. more

After a long haul of four hours in drizzly rain, which should of only taken two and a half we eventually reached our destination. A very friendly greeting lifted our spirits immediately and being able to park the car straight away because it had already been organised by Chris and Terry was a bonus. We were shown to our room... more

Never having been to Brighton before, I didn't know where to stay. A friend recommended that for our Girlie Weekend we should stay at The Bannings at Number 14. I am so glad we did! Overlooking the fact that the B&B is situated just a stones throw away from the beautiful Beach and Pier, and just a 5 minute walk... more
