Just back from 3 nights staying with Terry and Chris and would like to say thank you for a lovely long weekend. Made to feel totally at home and I'd like to think, made some new friends in the process. Comfy beds with lots of pillows. Breakfast in abundance, cooked to perfection served with a smile and a natter. I... More

Many thanks to Chris and Terry for looking after us so well. Great service (always with a smile!) and attention to detail. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped room (only downside was the small en-suite shower room- it was a little tricky to dry and dress yourself with the door shut!). Fabulous breakfasts. We liked the location- reasonably quiet but only a short... More

Lovely 2 night stay August Bank Holiday weekend. Really homely and welcoming, with crisp white bedding, lush white towels and spotlessly clean rooms. Breakfast was gorgeous and nothing is too much trouble for these guys. Great location - quite leafy pretty street just minutes away from the hustle and bustle of town. Highly recommend this lovely B&B.

Visited Number 14 again this year. Fabulous stay room had been re-vamped and looked even better (Room 2). Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Chris and Terry were there usual friendly and helpful selves. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. We wouldn't even consider another place you can't find nicer hosts than Chris and Terry!

The rooms are a good size, spotless clean, large beds very comfortable, plenty of tea, coffee, biscuits, milk and bottled water. Rooms have fans and the shower rooms equipped with everything you could want including fluffy white towels. Chris and Terry make you very welcome and are friendly and helpful with lots of local knowledge. The breakfast, freshly cooked, is... More

My partner and I booked a 2-night mid-week break at No.14. The guest house of only 6 rooms is run by the dynamic duo of Chris and Terry. When I phoned to confirm the booking, Terry was very helpful; advising on transport, parking, weather, entry to the room etc. Following the 1-hour train ride from London Bridge,we took the #7... Just returned from a lovely weekend in Brighton with some friends and we stayed at this guest house which we found on Expedia. We highly recommend this guest house which has a warm and welcoming feel to it as soon as you walk in. It is a 2 minute walk to the seafront which is an ideal location. Terry and... More

Wanting just one night, mid week, we found this hotel to be perfect. Hosts were very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was hot and cooked to personal taste. Room had little added touches and lots of tea/coffee, not the one or two sachets which are often available. A very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Chris and terry were excellent hosts, they made you feel welcome from the moment you stepped in the door. The room was a good size, very clean and well presented. The breakfast was perfect and the choices were great. I was amazed at the choices of tea, I'm sure there was every type. The b&b was a great location, parking... More

A delightfully Brighton-esque property run by two wonderful hosts Terry and Chris. They obviously love running this B&B and everything about Bannings felt warm and inviting, from the initial welcome, the cozy but well furnished rooms, to the cooked-to-order breakfast experience. It’s a block from the ocean and pier, and the shops literally start around the corner leading you to... More
