We booked this B&B after reading the many positive reviews on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The property has been recently renovated and is stylish, simple and extremely welcoming. Our room on the second floor was small but beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean with the usual tea, coffee, biscuits and kit kats. The hairdryer was a really good... more

This is a lovely and well run guesthouse. We were made to feel very welcome and Louise made us a pot of tea on our arrival. Everything from the front door to the bedrooms is beautifully decorated and cared for. Breakfast ranged from a full english to cereal, fresh fruit and fruit juices. Louise and Phil were very helpful for... more

almost forgot to leave a review from last month! we had another fantastic stay at the whitburn lodge. tried a different room to last time- equally cosy and very prettily decorated. a bit more spacious than the last room, and the last one wasn't exactly tiny! you get a great night's sleep here on comfy beds, well provided for with... more

Upon arrival at Whitburn, the exterior looked lovely, and the interior was even better! We only stayed one night- but we wished we could've stayed longer because it was so homely and friendly. We had researched places to stay in Brighton, and having read great reviews of this place on tripadvisor-we were right to trust them and made the right... more

This was our first stay in B&B with our 7 months old baby. Phil & Louise were very accommodating and helpful. We stayed in a double room (number 5) on the top floor (4 flights of stairs provided us with good exercise). It was all very comfortable and clean. In this particular room there is a Victorian type bath in... more

we stayed six nights at Whitburn Lodge and felt fully comfortable in the small but tastefully furnished room with extremely good beds and enjoyed the excellent and opulent breakfast Louise and Phil served us. They are very helpful and gave us good advices for excursions, travelling and restaurants. The lodge is well situated with beach and shops all near by.... more

Overall, Whitburn Lodge can only be described as welcoming and friendly .... and incredibly professional! The rooms are immaculate and the breakfast is great … that morning coffee just appeared seamlessly …. I say go for the scrambled eggs with salmon … yum! Great value, we’ll be back for sure. execution more

Lovely rooms, very helpful team, spotless rooms, comfy beds, great location slap bang between the high street and the beach. Wonderful. I would recommend to all. I even left behind some of my belongings by accident and they sent them on to me free of charge. Can't say enough great things about it. more

I only stayed at Whitburn Lodge for three nights but I was very impressed. Not only by the excellent service provided by Louise and Phil, but by the spotlessly clean rooms. Indeed the whole building looked as though it had just been 'Spring Cleaned' from top to bottom. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the 'Whitburn', and I would recommend... more

We stayed at Whitburn Lodge for a long Easter weekend and it was the perfect base for a fab time in Brighton. Phil and Louise were marvellous hosts, cooking delicious breakfasts, providing herbal teas, answering numerous questions and even printing a document for us! The location was great – quiet and yet a short walk from all that Brighton has... more
