I stayed in the family suite in the hotel and the condition of the room is amazing, supplied with the essentials. The owners of the b&b are very sociable and seem to be very, very nice people. It's not too far away from the sea, so it's only a 5 minute to walk there. I recommend this hotel to anyone!... More

Me and my husband stayed at The Amblecliff this weekend and there are no negatives to say at all. Terry and Andrew are the perfect hosts with a very warm and friendly welcome when you arrive. We were in room 4, again, can't fault it, it was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A short walk down the hill takes you... More

Four of us stayed in two rooms (one twin one double) for two nights at the end of June, and in summary I'd say the Amblecliff was everything we'd expected as we'd chosen it on the basis of other Tripadvisor member reviews. Pro's: Very welcoming, Terry is far from a typical seaside landlady (I'm sure she won't mind me saying)... More

My wife and I spent 3 nights at the Ambercliff and we could not have wished for a better place to stay. Everything was spotlessly clean and Terry our host was very friendly and could not do enough for us to ensure our stay was a pleasurable one. Breakfast is superb freshly cooked at the time specified. I didn't need... More

We have just returned from a two night stay at this wonderful hotel and would highly recommend. Rooms were immaculate and our hosts fantastic, nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast was fantastic. Good value for money and in an excellent location we will be definitely booking again

Just back from spending 2 nights at the Amblecliff. It is a very homely B&B and spotlessly clean. Good comfortable beds and a very good breakfast. It is ideally situated in Brighton as it's only a brief walk to the pier and shops. We had a room at the front of the place that was a bit noisy at night... More

My husband and I have just stayed at this very well located excellent b&b. The hosts were so welcoming and the room itself was very clean and well presented. The location was excellent with only a few minutes walk to the pier. And the hosts had a good knowledge of the locality and provided a wonderful full English breakfast to... More

I stayed for 6 nights in the top, king double No9,room. The welcome was excellent from Terry and her husband. The room was very clean and well presented with tea and coffee facilities, large screen tv and a shower room. Unfortunately the tv had poor reception on most channels and the complementary wifi was also poor in this room. As well as... More

My husband and I stayed here for two nights on a weekend during the Brighton Festival this May. Friendly hosts, delicious breakfasts, a comfortable room... it was great! The entire place was absolutely spotless, and its location within easy walking distance of all the best of Brighton was perfect. I highly recommend Amblecliff!

We followed advice on Tripadvisor and booked into the Amblecliff. The first and major problem is parking, you either book a daily permit through the hotel or take your chances with the ticket machines, we prebooked but it still doesn't guarantee you a place. We were reasonably lucky when we arrived as we were able to park within 50 yards... More
