We've booked on the strength of the reviews and were utterly dissappointed. The owners are very friendly (although rather unprofessional) and the place is clean, but otherwise it is a very average Bed and Breakfast in a desperate need of refurbishment. We stayed in the double with a really tiny en-suite. The decoration obviously had been done very unprofessionally and... more

Well many a times you pay and you never get your monies worth but in this case i can say that we DID get more than our monies worth :) The room was spacious, clean not to mention the ever so comfortable matress. We were in the basement room (Garden Room) and it was fabulous as we had an entrance/exit... more

We arrived late in the evening but due to an oversight and double booking from an ex employ was offered to stay the evening at the owner’s house. This turned out to be a very enjoyable evening. The following morning we were taken to the hotel for a tasty breakfast before being shown our room. The room was clean and... more

Michelin should be ashamed of themselves! The website for this Bed and Breakfast is a totally misleading representation of what the Amblecliff really is. We arrived having looked forward to a weekend break in Brighton in what we expected top be a clean, first class B & B. We left after only ten minutes! On arriving in the lobby we... more

Excellent venue for our weekend in Brighton, staff bent over backwards to help out and the breakfast was plentiful with a lovely selection. The room was comfortable and cosy, with a price that didn't make too bigger impact on the wallet. Would recommend this as a base for any activity in Brighton or surrounding places, close enough for a 10... more

I cannot rate this guest house highly enough. We had the Garden Room and it was absolutely lovely; very clean with everything you could need. Elaine and her team were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great with a very good selection and the location couldn't have been better. Next time I am in Brighton this is the place... more

Have been to Brighton a number of times and stayed in many of the Hotels along the sea front and have been quite disappointed with the room for the price I have paid!! This B&B on the other hand, was perfect! The Amblecliff is very well situated for everything Brighton has to offer and only a very short walk form... more
