We choose Aquarium from the reviews on tripadvisor and were not disappointed. Both owners were friendly and helpful and gave helpful advice on the locality. Our room was very comfortable and clean with a view to the seafront. Breakfast here would have been an added bonus but there is a complimentary breakfast basket which filled us up. Great location for... More

My partner & I stayed here for a long weekend during which my brother got married. We picked the guest house for the great reviews on here & it's central location. I can only add to what others have previously written about the Aquarium, as it was as expected, probably better! It has lovely decor throughout, my room was lovely... More

Myself and my partner and another couple stayed here over August bank holiday weekend. We have stayed in Brighton several times and I have relatives there and know the area well. The location of this guest house was perfect for us, just off James street and a stones throw from clubs and the pier. The room itself was immaculate and... More

Myself & a friend went on our yearly weekend away to Brighton in November and we stayed at the Aquarium Guest House. When we arrived the door was opened by a very smiley welcoming man who offered to take our bags and showed us to our room. We stayed in a twin room on the first floor at the front... More

Such a lovely guest house. No breakfast but delighted with the basket of fruit, snacks and coffee provided. Location is really central and the welcome was warm and friendly. We have stayed in hotels in Brighton in the past and the Aquarium Guest House was equally as good if not better.

My husband and i stayed at this lovely guest house for a weekend away from busy London. Open arrive the owner was very helpful and we were able to buy a 24 hour parking permit off him, so much cheaper than the public car parks in Brighton. We managed to get a park not far away which was a bonus.... More

I planned a very last minute weekend getaway - June 2014 - during peak season, and received helpful and fast communications with the hosts. I booked a great room, clean, modern with everything i needed for a long weekend. The guest house is an amazingly central location, right in line with the aquarium and big wheel next to the pier.... Superb room & en-suite, all decorated to a very high specification. We were her for the Labour Conference 2013 and were in easy walking distance of just about everything in the centre of Brighton. The light breakfast bowl in the room suited us as we could eat when we wanted - ideal for the conference and days we stayed on... More

This was a great find. We usually stay in hotels, but when we saw the rooms online, we thought we would give this guest house a try. Our room was clean, comfortable, and warm. This place is well located, without being noisy, so had a great nights sleep, while still being central.
