Well my friend booked us into this little B&B called Strawberry Fields! The website shows beautiful white linen and we were excited. She had read some reviews previous to us getting there - so we had mixed ideas of what we would find. We arrived, and finding the B&B immediatley, we found the last car parking space, and were excited......... more

My fiance and me stayed here reluctantly over bank holiday as we couldn't find availablity anywhere else, we were pretty dubious after reading the reviews but thought sod it we won't be spending much time in the rooms anyway and just wanted to be in Brighton!!!! We arrived and from the outside it looks lovely we were greeted by really... more

Strawberry Fields is in a great location; approximately 5 minutes walk from the beach/ pier and 10-15 minutes walk from town centre and lanes. There are many good restaurants and cafes situated near by and the area feels very safe. However, unfortunately the ‘hotel’ itself was disappointing as it did not live up to the expectations of a modern, fresh... more

We were after a one night stay which was hard to find as most guest houses in Brighton seemed to have a two night minimum stay at weekends. When emailing Strawberry Fields on the Monday we were told that they were still taking two night bookings, but that I could check back later in the week. I called them on... more

They've created a jazzy website, but it is misleading of the actual B&B. I stayed here for two days with a group of friends and whilst the rooms were adequate (comfortable bed to sleep in, clean sheets), I wasn't expecting to have to share a shower and toilet. Some rooms had ensuite facilities but those that didn't, did not have... more

the set up seems more like a backpackers hostel than a guesthouse, with lots of small rooms off a shared toilet. the girls behind the desk seemed nice enough but again more like students running a hostel than receptionists. here's the good stuff: excellent location, and last minute availability. bad stuff: my room was quite grubby, and I woke up... more

Strawberry fields is a small hotel right by the sea in brighton. It's a 2 min walk from the pier, so your right in the center of town, and the view of the sea from a lot of the rooms is as good a sight to wake up to as any. It may not be the 5 star treatment, but... more

- At the reception desk we were told that the room we booked is a small double which we were not aware. The owner insist that she put some sentence at the bottom of our booking. Ok, fair enough, we didnt look at it that clear. - We didnt expect that the 'small double' is something about 8 squre metre... more

Stayed for two nights at Strawberry Fields and had a lovely time. Staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very clean and spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. I especially enjoyed the breakfast being brought to the room as it was on time and delicious.Would definitely recommend staying there. more

I celebrated my 21st birthday with a group of friends and I couldn't have picked a better hotel to stay in. We had the whole top floor which made us feel really relaxed and at home, and the rooms were really comfortable and clean, and we thought the strawberry decorations were an excellent touch! The staff were really helpful and... more
