We went for our anniversary and hardly had any sleep because there are 2 clubs over the road. One shut at 3.30 am when the bar staff then brought out all the bags of bottles and put them in the recycling outside. The other club shuts at 5.30am and then you get all the shouting and swearing as everyone leaves.... more

Stayed here for 4 nights as part of a conference, great location for this and the city centre. Found the male owner quite terse but Hazel was lovely and very welcoming. Room itself was spacious and very stylish. Comfortable bed and large tv. Breakfast was great and very filling. Overall a very enjoyable stay. more

I stayed for 5 nights at Leona House whilst at a conference and it was a very positive experience. Hazel is simply lovely, a very kind and upbeat woman. The room was very clean and well presented with nice touches such as robes. The breakfasts were delicious and it was nice you could choose exactly what you wanted. I shared... more

Stayed at Leona House recently for a conference. Never been to Brighton before. Paul & Hazel were both helpful & friendly, yet unobtrusive. The rooms whilst small were clean and nicely decorated. Good quality bedlinen & bathrobes. My room had a shared bathroom, which did not prove to be a problem, and again was clean & tidy. Breakfast was delicious,... more

Ruined our first anniversary. Had a lovely room but had no sleep as it was right opposite a nightclub which played music until 5.30a.m. and people were screaming and shouting outside our window. We were not informed of this on booking a King Room at £100 per night. Breakfast was very mean and the gentleman looking after was very surly... more

We received a warm welcome from the owners and thoroughly enjoyed our comfortable stay. Proved to be an excellent location to visit all the tourist attractions Brighton has to offer and hope to return next year. Thanks more

Stayed at Leona house at a recent conference in April 2007 and the room itself was lovely. Expensive duvet, furnishings etc but it lacked in cleanliness. The bathroom was tiny and no way could you bend over to shave your legs in the cubicle! The owners were somewhat scary in their manner and they both wore the same clothes for... more

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic weekend in Brighton, which was helped by staying at Leona House. The location was fantatsic - central to everything! The owners were very welcoming and extremely helpful in telling us about the events going on and where places of interest are. The cooked breakfast was delicious and we even got an extra sausage!!... more

Not quite as glam as the pics on their website would suggest, but a decent B&B nevertheless. We paid £90 per night for a twin en suite and were very pleased overall. The room was a decent size with 1 single bed and 1 double bed (both very comfy) - there were fluffy pillows and bathrobes as promised but alas,... more

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and loved the place. The owners were really friendly and welcoming, the bedrooms were extremely comfortable and clean, the decor was tasteful and much attention was paid to detail. Greatly enjoyed the cooked breakfast each morning! The hotel is in a brilliant position a stone's throw from the sea and minutes from the... more
