I thoroughly recommend this hotel / bed and breakfast to anyone wanting a quiet, restorative stay in Brighton. Terry and the team are great hosts - kind, thoughtful and welcoming. The decor - and flowers! - are beautiful and the breakfasts are excellent. We'll be back! More

Comfortable clean and spacious rooms, the most gorgeous breakfasts with home made fruit compote and locally sourced sausages and eggs. Also a good position for the town and knowledgeable welcoming hosts. More

We have just returned from our third trip to ‘Greys’. Everything, the genuine warmth and helpfulness of Terry and his staff. |The comfort of our room, the fantastic breakfast was exactly as we remembered it. ‘Greys’ is ideally located just a short walk from virtually everything to make a weekend, or a longer break, a thoroughly enjoyable stay in Brighton.... Spacious, clean, comfy, bright, and stylish ensuite room with unusual but effective coffee and tea maker, modern table and chairs, and flat screen tv. Great breakfast, enjoyed the selection of fruit, the eggs benedict, the scrambled egg and smoked salmon, and the full english. Sociable hosts. Good location, tens minutes interesting walk to the town centre either along the seafront... More

This was our second stay at Greys and happy to report that it was just as good as before. The highlight is the breakfast- they do the best breakfasts ever! Fresh fruit salad, freshly basked croissants with an array of fine conserves, cereals, juices, tea, coffee, hot chocolate by the potful and that is before you get to the cooked... More

I've never written a review on here before, but we visited for the third time yesterday, and every visit has been superb. They remembered us as soon as we arrived, and we were told that because of an error with our booking we had been upgraded to a four poster bedroom! We were greeted with a huge, excellent room full... We spent a weekend at Grey's with my partner and our experience has been overall very positive. Grey's does not have the wow factor that other quirky places in Brighton do but it is a nice, stylish and good b&b, fairly close to the the lanes and the city center (10-15' walking) and next to the beachfront and Kemptown. The... More
