Excellent location close to everything you could want for a weekend away. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Patrick greeted us when we arrived and made sure that had everything we required for our stay including parking permit. We felt comfortable during the whole stay, nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was tasty and filling served by smiling staff.

When planning a get together for friends and looking for somewhere to stay, I chose the Kelvin totally by chance. We were not disappointed and have all agreed we would choose again. The location is perfect, the welcome, friendliness and helpfulness was most appreciated and the breakfast was great. The room was excellent in terms of comfort and cleanliness.

Just returned from a weekend stay at the Kelvin, and we loved it. From the minute you arrive you are made totally welcome by Patrick. The rooms are modern simple and clean, and perfect for a short break. Very good breakfast in the morning, with a good variety to suit anyone. They even have parking vouchers you can purchase for... I stumbled upon this little gem: a small room, comfortable and clean..and the landlady was really caring and friendly! I already knew the street in which is located: a stone's throw from the Pier. Freshly prepared breakfast!

I stayed with a friend for two nights at The Kelvin. Cozy and small place, tiny but clean room (but then again who spends their holiday in the room?). Very friendly staff, breakfast cooked to order according to our wishes. Great location right next to the pier and a few minutes' walk to the Lanes area. The only problem was... More

A warm welcome from Patrick but the Kelvin, like Brighton, is in need of some TLC. The 'superior' double bedroom is not a double room- just about fits the double bed and that's it- and the mattress would be of better use as a trampoline. In, the bathroom, the lip of the shelf directly below the mirror makes it very... More

Came hear with my girlfriend for easter weekend and found that the location where it is situated is fantastic. 5 minutes from everywhere pier, town centre and the Brighton Pavilion. We drove up and parking there is a nightmare but we found a space right outside the hotel and the hotel provided us with permits £10 a day. When booking... More

A very warm but not imposing welcome from Patrick and his team. Very clean and carpeted throughout The Kelvin is a definite return for me. The location is superb and the view down the street to the centre of The Brighton Wheel is stunning! Very handy for the locale and central Brighton is a 10 minute walk. The place is... More
