Where to start?? Five is perfectly located on New Steine-just a stones throw from the beach and a five minute walk from the town centre. There is a choice of convenience shops at the top of the road along with bars and eateries. The outside is clean and tidy and the inside is exactly the same. Welcomed by Caroline on... More

We recently stayed at Hotel Five in Room 01, Had a lovely time, the room was fantastic, we had a sea view window and the bed was so comfy. The breakfast delivered to the room was fantastic, we choose a time and it was brought up to the room with warm croissants, toast and loads of other stuff, it was... More

We spent 4 nights at the Five Hotel after a hectic coach tour and found it to be very welcoming, comfortable and well situated. It's close to amenities but away from the more touristy areas of Brighton. Our hosts were wonderful and accommodating and we enjoyed having the lovely continental breakfast delivered to our door each morning. We had lovely... More

Me and my girlfriend went for a romantic night in Brighton and were so impressed by this B&B and the people running it. Very idyllic location and literally a minutes walk from the seafront. When we got there the lady got a map out straight away and pointed out some good places to go. We were then shown our room... More

Our double room was very small for our needs. The wardrobe was tiny and we had to hang most of our clothes on the back of the room door. Also the lights were very dim and my wife and I found it difficult to read after dark. Because the room was cramped there is only one bedside table, so only... More

The Five Hotel is more or less in between Hotel and B&B. It is located 50 meters from the pebble beach, 5 minutes from Brighton Pier, 7 to 10 minutes walk to the Lanes in a side street of the coast line. Bus stop 50 meters. We had a beautiful view from our room to sea and small park in... More

Excellent location, close to the sea front and a vibrant part of town. The rooms are clean, comfy and not austere. The staff are fantastic, they are friendly but not annoyingly so. When my plans got cancelled suddenly & I got stuck in Brighton alone. They went out of their way to help me, to find me a room, in... More

I enjoyed two nights in the hospitality of Caroline, who was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and rather well furnished for such a small room and old house. You might have a problem finding enough power outlets for devices if you like to stay plugged in though. Location of the hotel was great too. With the beach a... More

Stayed for one night on the second floor. The room was fine but you can’t help thinking they are missing a trick or two. The room is a bit bare to say the least and some trendy wall paper and furniture wouldn’t go amiss . Room was clean and comfortable and good value for the £70 I paid. The Hotel... More

Stayed here last night and what an excellent find. They take guests for a Saturday night only which is almost impossible to find in Brighton. Ideal central situation with sea view and meter parking @ £6 for 4 hours can be found virtually outside but you may have to drive around for a while in high season. Parking free on... More
