A very disappointing B&B. The photo is deceiving as it is a very narrow building over a few floors. Needed to make our way up with heavy suitcases on a narrow staircase. Old and unrenovated. The bedroom and bathroom couldn't get any smaller. Meter parking opposite the hotel if you can get a spot. Unfortunately we were booked. The only... More

Just got back from Brighton staying at the Five Guest House. Fantastic location and friendly faces, we felt very welcome! Located just a very short walk from the Pier and also the town centre yet very, very quiet! And managed to park directly outside the building, what a bonus!!! Very clean and comfortable, fantastic sea view from the bay window,... More

A personal and charming little hotel close to the Pier. Nice clean rooms. Very friendly and nice land lady. Especially the picnik-like breakfast we got served in the room every morning was fantastic. Very close to the Pier and the town center. There is no elevator, and steep stairs, dont bring too heavy suitecase. I would visit again.

Five Hotel is situated in the city center, close to the famous pier. We got a nice room with sea view. The rooms is rather small, but clean and comfortable. We received breakfast in the room and could enjoy our breakfast with view on the sea.

This is a great little hotel near the sea front. There is always a warm welcome and the rooms are clean and comfortable. There is no lift so try to book a room on one of the lower floors if stairs are not your thing. The breakfast is a picnic fair delivered to your room and really tasty. One down... More

I had a lovely 4 night stay. I had pre-warned the owner about my late arrival, but still had a call to check all was okay and I was still coming. A good friendly welcome late at night. I felt safe as a lone female walking to the hotel at night. Lots of street lights. It is a town house... More

We were given a nice, bright cheerful spacious room. Internet was free and was of fairly good speed. Milk sachets, coffee & tea bags were provided along with 2 kitkats. Iron and Hair-dryers were provided. Breakfast didn't manage to fill me up as there was no option of eggs or sausages. For lovers of good old wholesome English Breakfast, this is... More

On the whole, a nice place, close to the Brighton Pier. A walkable distance from the railway station (though it's better to take a bus on the way back because you'll have to go uphills). Very welcoming hosts. The only problems are that there's no lift (but it's common for British B&Bs) and that there's very little space for your... More

This is a nice, comfortable Bed&Breakfast in Brighton. We had a room on third floor which had a partial view of the sea. It was equipped with essentials like iron & electric kettle and had free Internet, though no water bottle was provided. One minor hassle was taking luggage up and down so many steps. I have mixed feelings about... More
