What a find in the lovely Kemp town end of Brighton but so close to the town centre and a stones throw from the beach! Really welcoming couple running this special place with the most wonderful organic continental breakfast delivered in a basket to your room that included soya milk as requested. Great location, clean room with sea views, DVD... More

We were greeted with a warm welcome and a lovely clean room, what more could you want! The last time we came, over a year ago, we enjoyed a fantastic breakfast in the dining room and wondered if it would be as good delivered to the room in a basket. It was! And you dont have to leave your bed!... More

A great place to stay. Centrally located within walking distance of town centre and pier. Room large, modern, comfortable, spotless. Hosts very welcoming and ready to impart information and maps. Breakfast hamper generous with lots of choice. No need to look anywhere else!

Stayed here this week for one of my regular visits to see my daughter. Have been lucky in the past but this has to be the best value yet. Very compact single room, ensuite exceptionally tiny but functional. Loved the up to date DVDs and breakfast basket as mentioned by other folks. Good location for town, Pavilion and pier.

Stayed here briefly during a trip to the area. The hotel is more a guesthouse than hotel and is closely located to Brighton Pier. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they've thought of everything from signs with taxi numbers to a bookcase of useful books. Wifi is complimentary. The room I stayed in was a little small and the... More

Even as we arrived very late at night, we got warmly greeted by Caroline and also the following days she was always at hand with help and infomation about things to see and do. The location with esplanade, the pier and also the Lanes in short walking distance proved to be very handy with the stormy weather around New Year.... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for short city getaway and we loved it, we live in Bournemouth but like to visit Brighton now again. The location was great, just a short walk away from the pier, lanes, the shops and our room had a view of the sea. It was also in a slightly quieter area of the town,... More

Exactly what you want but rarely get. A Room with a seaview at a nice privately run hotel at a decent price. Could have done with stronger coffee for the cafetiere in the room but that's my only quibble.

Very friendly staff, a nice bed and good room size with good size ensuite. Fairly priced but have stayed in equally good hotels just the other side of the garden for a more competitive rate. Nice breakfast basket left in room for early checkout.

Me and boyfriend booked a last minute getaway to brighton before I start full time work (both have full time jobs now). Five had great reviews and is close to the great places in Brighton. When we got there the hosts were lovely, however I had a feeling they weren't used to young people (17 and 18).When we got to... More
