Stayed in the basement 'Luxury Suite'. Massive bed, clean room, nice little extras (tea, coffee, cereal etc), smart decor. Now to the bathroom. Best described as a 70's Oriental Water Feature - set over 3 tiers, nice terracotta tiles, enough spotlights to safely be seen from the moon, and a cascading water feature (broken) just waiting to have water and... The hotel has single rooms which are hide to find when you look at hotels in Brighton. The hotel is right near the front and shops, just a short walk. Hotel manager was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean. If the weather is hot, the single room got a bit unbearable as the window was hard... More

I booked here because I was attending a stag do and didn't want to pay £160 at the Thistle or share! Situated in Kemptown its about 10/15 mins walk from the pier - on arrival you have to type in a door code and get key from a coded box - in other words there is no reception / landlord... More

After staying here last year and enjoying it, I returned for my July holiday. Although I only booked a small room, the staff upgraded me when possible to a larger one at no extra charge, which was very kind. This is a clean, quiet and comfortable small hotel which is ideal for the single traveller. Very close to the sea-front... More

I did not enjoy my stay in this hotel. The rooms are tiny, there is no reception which means there is a convoluted system of self-access, the television doesn't work and I thought it was overpriced considering breakfast was not included.

Overall I was pretty happy with the hotel and the room. Was just a shame about the bathroom being so small, I couldn't even shave my legs! The room was gorgeous and the decor was amazing. Location was fab

My partner and I stayed here on the 21st June and we were very disappointed with our stay. I fully support local businesses and very rarely leave bad reviews but I feel I have to with this guest house which we got the impression is under new management. We did arrive a little early so left our bags which were... More

We were visiting the University and found the hotel very well situated for us to enjoy the Seafront and the Lanes whilst also being near Grand Parade. Our room was comfortable and quiet with a very large king size bed. Cereals, milk and fruit juice provided as well as usual coffee, tea and biscuits. En suite was slightly small but... More

My partner and I stayed here for two nights 18th/19th June. We were advised by email that a parking permit could be obtained for £10.00 per day. We decided against this and took a gamble as the permit could not guarantee a space. Unfortunately this backfired as the only street parking available was short stay. There were no long stay... More
