We stayed here for my birthday weekend for 2 nights. We had a nice sized suit with a king bed and a large, spacious bathroom. Location is great, very short walk from sea front and pier. Parking was an issue as we were told by the hotel that with the permit we paid £10 for each day, we could park... More

As a seasoned user of cheap Brighton hotels over three years working there, I can say this is the best I've used. The keycode/key safe system is pretty sensible for a hotel of this type, everything was clean and functional, and I thought the breakfast box was inspired (but then it was my leaving drinks so the water, orange juice... We stayed in room 2, which was decorated ok but needed some work. Ok on first impression but look a bit harder and things were not so great. The plug by the mirror was hanging off the wall. The bathroom was ridiculous, the shower so small it was impossible to wash probably & the shower curtain didn't stop the bathroom... More

Stayed for two nights in Luxury Suite which was the whole of the basement with own front door and key access Great location We arranged parking permits with the hotel and managed to park right outside Lovely rooms and furniture, plenty of room and storage space Large bathroom with shower, spa bath, sink, toilet and bidet - only gripe spa... Recently stayed at this hotel and yes while I can't disagree that the location was good I can't get over how small the rooms were. There was no where to put clothes/shoes/bags. Yes there was 1 small wardrobe but this was not enough. The bathroom was also so small once in the shower you could just about turn but no... More

We have chosen this Hotel, because of its great location, close to the beach and to the nightlife area. When we got to the Hotel we went through the self-check in which was a little fiddly but only took about 10 minutes (we did arrive quite late). The room looks lovely (one of the superior rooms) and was very spacious... More

I never got to see the hotel unfortunately. I booked through Expedia put in my card details, after a few days I got an email stating that my card was not working and that I needed to change it or they'd have to cancel. I went back straight away and said go ahead and cancel as there were insufficient funds... More

Stayed in the basement 'Luxury Suite'. Massive bed, clean room, nice little extras (tea, coffee, cereal etc), smart decor. Now to the bathroom. Best described as a 70's Oriental Water Feature - set over 3 tiers, nice terracotta tiles, enough spotlights to safely be seen from the moon, and a cascading water feature (broken) just waiting to have water and... The hotel has single rooms which are hide to find when you look at hotels in Brighton. The hotel is right near the front and shops, just a short walk. Hotel manager was so friendly and helpful. The hotel was lovely and clean. If the weather is hot, the single room got a bit unbearable as the window was hard... More

I booked here because I was attending a stag do and didn't want to pay £160 at the Thistle or share! Situated in Kemptown its about 10/15 mins walk from the pier - on arrival you have to type in a door code and get key from a coded box - in other words there is no reception / landlord... More
