As long as you're happy to follow instructions to get into the hotel and room, instead of having reception staff, I would definitely recommend this hotel. The instructions were very clear and the room itself was excellent, with high quality fixtures and fittings. The 'breakfast tray' was fine and the location is excellent.

This trip was a group of friends visiting Brighton for the weekend . Each room in this hotel is decorated differently . The hotel offers complimentary wifi to its guests and in each room there is a selection of complimentary snacks and refreshments as there is no dining room , however this was not missed . In the local area... More

Our lavender room was absolutely perfect for our stay. With complementary breakfast tray which was refilled each day, very friendly owner Jeremy who helped us throughout our stay by allowing earlier check in as the room was already ready and also allowing us to store our luggage after check out so we was not carrying it around all day, he... This hotel is just at the top of Kemp Town with lots of local restaurants , cafes and bars nearby. The owner Jeremy is on hand if you need but but otherwise it's easy to let yourself in and get settled. The room has coffee and tea , welcome snacks and a simple breakfast of cereal just to keep you... More

the hotel manager Jeremy is a real gentleman and as I've read in recent reviews he's only just taken over this hotel from it's old management so I expect things to change. we payed £120 for 1 night and I think it was far too dear for the size of the room we've got as there was no breakfast and... I was a bit dubious about staying in an independent hotel in the city, as I've always stayed in commercial rooms such as travellodge etc.. I must say I was pleasantly surprised about how well organised the stay was, and how courteous Jeremy (the manager) was... The hotel is mainly unmanned and access is made with an outside coded door... More

Nice hotel, recently refurbished rooms. good helpful staff. Good location. Check out time is a bit early at 10:30 but I guess this is to give them time to get ready for the next arrivals. Breakfast not officially included but complimentary cereals and drinks etc provided in room.

I'm not the type of person to complain, but I wasn't too happy with my stay here. Parking was a little difficult as it is on-street parking, I found finding the hotel a little difficult too as there is no obvious sign outside (I am quite blind though). There is no reception desk, infact I'm unsure if I saw a... More

We stayed here on sat 27th June. Myself, partner and 3 month old baby. We stayed in the deluxe suite- room number 9. It was a great sized room. The self check in/out is perfect. A detailed email is sent upon booking. We bought our own travel crib but there was room for the single put up bed which the... More
