stayed at this hotel 2nd till 4th August, the staff were very friendly and helpful, our room was in the basement area which was good, plenty of space but could do with a coat of paint and new carpets but for the price you pay I think was a good hotel, parking outside the hotel was a rip off so... Myself and 8 friends stayed here for two nights for my hen weekend in July - location is fantastic as everything is only a couple of minutes walk away. The rooms were a little shabby and in need of a good lick of paint though. The bathrooms were adequate enough - when booking ensure that you do not request a... More

This hotel is situated about 3 mins from the beach and 4 mins from the centre of Brighton by foot. The location is perfect. It is quite small and do not expect any luxuries, but it is pretty good inside and is located at a pretty good area. There are a lot of things nearby like the cinema ( around... More

We stayed in this hotel for my hen weekend, it was clean and comfortable but is in need of a referb. The shower wasn't the best, kept going hot then cold then off which was very annoying. Breakfast was nothing special but it was ok and edible. On the whole the hotel was fine, it was clean, in a good... More

Stayed on a Saturday night after a serious day's walking on the South Downs. The hotel is well located near the front, with an underground multi-story car park right outside (parking can be a nightmare in Brighton). Had a top floor room- and that is four flights of increasingly steep stairs to climb (which worked the tired muscles), room was... More

with some trepidation (we'd read the reviews), we checked in and were greeted by a smiley Spanish receptionist. The hotel was pretty empty. We'd been given room 16, a huge double with floor-to-ceiling windows and a view of the pier. A deliciously comfortable 6ft-wide bed with pristine linen, a newly-tiled bathroom, light-proof curtains and a fridge - what more could... More

Well it's not that it was bad but it was nothing like the write up on the home page of the website!!!! Very dated, not for modern day living at all!! Not a lot going for it, staff were ok but not the chirpiest! Fire alarm went off at 5am - not best pleased considering there wasn't a fire and... More

What the hell is this place if not hell itself, we were here for a hen-do and greeted by two devil receptionists, dirty looks, we were putting them out by having the audacity to turn up and check into the room which we had to pay for two nights even if we wanted to stay for just one. We were... More

I recently visited Brighton for a 2 day business trip (10th - 12th Sept), and stayed at the Beach Hotel. Being a TA user for over 7 years, I always check the reviews but this time decided not to, as I was travelling alone and there was no time for search. I double bedroom at the beach hotel for two... The room we had was nice and clean, the ceilings were very low but it's an old building so we expected that, the lift is ancient but it worked. The staff were helpful, you have Good sea views as the hotel is right on the sea front, and a very nice breakfast was included in the price.
