We stayed here for a hen weekend with a group of 16. The hotel was the cheapest we could find in Brighton to accomodate all of us. The location was great, about a 5-10 minute walk into the lanes, the rooms were pretty basic but served the purpose. Although a little drafty. The breakfast's were okay, the english breakfast is... more

I stayed with a group of friends for a hen night, we had 2 x triple rooms at the front of the hotel on the second floor. There is no doubt the hotel is tired and old and in desperate need of an overhaul but for the price we paid there wasn't scope to complain. Our room faced the front... more

I stayed in this hotel over my birthday weekend and I must say it put a whole negative slant on my stay in Brighton. It was dirty, worn and hideously old fashioned. Apart from the bags of rubbish in the hallway, towels on the floor, holes in the carpet and death trap lift our room was horrific. Sick stains on... more

We had a great stay here. The staff are really friendly and helpful - they even saved us money by moving us from two twins to a triple. The room was spotless, the bathroom clean, the shower was powerful, the TV worked, tea and coffee was provided, windows opened - all the things the other reviewers didn't get - so... more

Having looked at the website, the hotel looked like a pleasant place to stay. On arrival, we realised it was not. The reception area gives off much more of a grotty youth hostel feel and the staff all seem a bit clueless. There were a few of us staying in the hotel. One member of the party was in a... more

On arrival in the reception arear i was immediatly apprehensive, bare floor boards and a reception area that reminded me of my schools general office with the youths to match it is more like a hostel than... more

One night we stayed in this place!! To start with, there was the smell of smoke everywhere in the hotel, even in the lifts and outside our rooms on the 2nd floor, despite a no smoking sign in reception. There was scaffolding all around the hotel, and we could not open the windows in our rooms. We could hear the... more

A group of 10 of us stayed here for a stag do - bank holiday weekend in May and it cost us £37 each! The nearest we could find to that was £80 per person, so if your just after a base for a night out and somewhere to crash afterwards, this is ideal. It looks like it has been... more

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in!! Don't do it to your self, spend a few more quid & check in somewhere else! Location was great, staff were ok, hotel was a nightmare!!! Checked in on the Friday for 2 nights, the 1st room was too hot, we couldn't open any windows as there was scaffolding all... more

Booked this hotel as we were attending a gig in the club . ( The Puppini SIsters) First room offered had no lock on the door and an interconnecting door to another room whcih also did not lock! Reception changed the room with no fuss. Second room fine, basic but clean and everything we needed. The puppini sisters were fantastic... more
