Stayed for one night in August. A good central location right by the west pier and near the shops. Lovely big double room with floor to ceiling bay window and sea views. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, particularly the man on the front desk. Breakfast was all self-service cereal, yogurts, ham, fruit, and a selection of hot... More

Really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Were there for two nights in June 2014. Yes it is old fashioned but that was half the fun, it felt like we had stepped back in time to visit an authentic British hotel from the 1800's. Staff were very friendly and were happy to organise taxis etc for us. Room was clean... More

Hotel is in need of updating. Bed linen and shower clean, however we were in a basement room and it felt like we were under a disco floor. We never slept the whole night as we were below the main reception, toilets and walk way to other rooms, the ceiling was continually shaking and we heard and felt every footstep... More

Hotel could do with a bit of decorating. Breakfast served on side plates which are too small to put portion of beans , sausage and couple rashers of bacon on it. Staff very friendly. Location is very good. Busy high street with many good shops and restaurants just around the corner. Would come back but please , change your plates... More

I stayed at this small, old fashioned, Regency hotel in July 2013 and in June 2014 when it had been completely refurbished although the old lift is still there in perfect working order. What do people expect for a clean en-suite room in a good location (near the Hilton) for £55pn B&B ?! The hot buffet breakfast with cereals, fruit,... More

It was a good and pleasant surprise! We stayed in room 11, just over the reception, so lucky because we had wifi all the time (usually just in reception area). Friendly staff, good location and.... C H E A P prices compared to all the other hotels in Brighton.

Myself and 13 other guys stayed here as part of a stag do at the beginning of July. Check in took a little while and the hotel looked a little rough round the edges but soon we were off to our room. We had a room in the basement and entered, surprised to see a third bed as there was... More

We stayed here as part of a friends hen weekend package deal, which cost us £240 for two nights. For the hotel and the events included this was expensive having now been through it. The hotel on arrival is shabby and dated but nothing untoward. The reception staff were helpful, we were asked to read and sign a form upon... More
