This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Only one word can describe it - DISGUSTING. I went to Brighton to attend a university interview, and as s student I am not very fussy but I can not find anything positive to say about my stay. There were piles of dirt on the stairs, stains on the walls,... more

We stayed at this hotel on a Saturday night. Our room was in a basement, the room itself ws ok but the bathroom was in need of refurbishment and the hallways and common parts of the building were shabby and smelly. At 10.30 on Saturday night we were disturbed by a fight that had broken out in the room above... more

What a great location and fantastic architecture! This hotel is a real ecclectic mix of regency and modern. Situated in a beautiful regency square , and only seconds from the beach and minutes from the main shopping. A great location, (better than many of the much more expensive hotels in town) and not expensive. If your looking for steel and... more

Absolutely the worst hotel I have ever slept in in my life. There was blood on our lamp, the room was smelly, and the bathroom was a joke. Some friends of ours who stayed also found razor blades and bloody needles in their room. Avoid at all costs. more

We booked this for a two night stay in July 07 and on arrival refused to stay and insisted on having a full refund of our deposit. On arrival we were immediately struck by how neglected the hotel is. It was shabby, threadbare carpets, stinky toilets and the dining room was no better than a school common room and I... more

two of us stayed at the Beach hotel for 3 nights at the beginning of August 07. The location is convenient, and i must say that the breakfasts on offer were good - buffet style, cereals, juice, toast, fresh fruit, yoghurts and cooked breakfast, but thats about all. The owners of this hotel are very cunning as they show the... more

i stayed in brighton to attend a wedding. i had a single room for two nights. the room was very small. The hotel was cheap and the decor reflected this. The windows were drafty and rattled. the bathroom window could not be closed. OK in the summer but i imagine quite chilly in winter. the breakfast was buffet style and... more

Just returned from a weekend at the Brighton Beach Hotel, their were 6 of us, we all found the accomodation unacceptable i stayed in room 28 which had 2 mushrooms growing out of the ceiling! We also had draughty rattling windows. Breakfast was edible but cold. No one in our party ventured near the showers as they were mouldy and... more

My girlfriend and I recently stayed at the Brighton Beach Hotel for one night and had an unpleasant stay there. The place is really run down, smells of piss and really needs to be painted and serious maintenance done to it. The breakfast is not up to the standards of a so called ”hotel” and was no good. On arriving... more
