I totally echo the below 'excellent' review. A prompt, friendly check in. Room huge, gorgeous high ceilings, jet bath and balcony, ample tea, coffee, sugar and toiletries. Nice self service breakfast. Car park across the road £16 for 22 hours (7pm-5pm). £65 a night for 2 including breaky in central Brighton (10 mins walk to pier) what do people want??... More

Ignore all the bad things on here there is nothing dangerous and the sausages weren't scary our double room was spotlessly clean bed was comfortable breakfast nice and loads of choice service can't be faulted we've stayed in 18 different places in Brighton over the last few years and this place is on a par with some that cost 3... This hotel has quite nice views of the sea across the Square. Of course, not all rooms will face in that direction. But the hotel itself, and the people who work there, are so lovely, that I am going back with my family, knowing that the family room we booked might not have such wonderful views. I very much liked... More

Dirty, smelly, small, overpriced, unhelpful staff, fag burns in the bed sheets, rips in the under sheets. We missed out on breakfast for the time we stayed as there was no room for us, and we felt very awkward standing around waiting for someone to Finnish so we could sit. Altogether a pretty dyer experience.

I stayed one night here. While the condition of the hotel is quite poor in places, the staff really couldn't be faulted. They were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was ok with an assortment of hot and cold foods and the restaurant looks good. I was a bit disappointed to see how cloudy the Windows are with sea salt. I... More

This hotel was very basic and actually quite dangerous in places, the stairs had a very low handrail and I can imagine someone falling over the top after a night out. The staff were very nice and it was ok for us as we we're on a hen do and not in the room much. I wouldn't rush back though!!!!

Very dated rooms, shabby furniture, torn curtains and filthy carpet. We booked for 2 nights but only stayed for one. The location was such that there was no free parking, 16 pound per night at the Regency Car Park. A cheaper price for the room was offset by the poor quality room, noise from the dining room and run-down state... More

Needs a lot of updating! Stayed here for a hen do so luckily didn't need to spend a lot of time in the room. It was basic and there were many stains on the bedding. Avoid breakfast at all costs as the sausages were horrendous. Cheapest of the cheap I imagine. Totally inedible. Would not stay here again & definitely... More

I have been coming to the beach hotel since september 2014 for work. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. If you have any problems tell them and they will sort out as soon as they can. Yes some of the rooms could do with updating but it is a busy hotel on the sea front. The quirkyness of the... More

I stayed here as part of a hen to. The hotel is clean and functional and the staff warm and accommodating. Although a little small, the twin room I stayed in was nice and had sea views. The beds were really comfortable, but a black out blind on the window might have extended my enjoyment of this! The hot water... More
