Very nice property, full english style, perfectly located in Brighton if you would like to be in the heart of the city without suffering the noise or the traffic. Service was simply perfect: we have been accepted by a very polite guy who gave us a lot of tips about where to eat excellent fish and accomodate all our requests.... more

Cake in the foyer, delicious breakfast selection, wonderful views, good value accommodation... with so many hotels to chose from, it is difficult to separate Brighton's guest houses, but with a parking deal with a nearby secure car park (£10 for 24hrs) and all of the aforementioned delights, you needn't look elsewhere. more

I fell in love in the place the first time I saw the pictures in the internet and although the space itself is smaller than what it seems, it was exactly what we needed. Small accomodation with excellent bed and interesting breakfast. Only downside was the fact that we were at the 4th floor without an elevetor, but other than... more

We stayed at Brighton House for a couple of nights to celebrate my birthday and it was a very special experience. I loved the fact that the staff were helpful and approachable but not trying to make conversation with you every time you left your room, on a break like this I appreciate being left to do my own thing... more

What a little gem! A lovely guest house, very hospitable and warm welcome. When I arrived I was greeted by Mr Watts - the resident cat, also waiting for the door to be answered. He makes it so homely! The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. And there were some little extra touches which make a difference. When they bake,... more

Lovely room with balcony we enjoyed having a cool bottle of white wine watching the sea and the square. Ideal close to the center and the sea and of course Brighton Dome where we enjoyed Gary Moore a second time. Great breakfast, being from Belgium used to continental breakfast, we didn't miss the cooked alltough we love it just as... more

We had a nice stay one night last week. Good location, within easy walking distance of everything that Brighton has to offer. Lovely decor and a healthy breakfast, if you avoid the chocolate spread etc ! Big thanks to Mr Watts for letting us stay ! more

Stayed in a single room, cosy but bright, well-thought out and comfortable. I liked the soft furnishings of the room and the hotel; light and easy colours as opposed to garish and dark colours used too often in other hotels. Cat was odd but friendly, bit like the staff but then I preferred that to the tired insincereity of major... more

This was a lovely hotel. Our room was well-furnished, comfortable and quiet (something worth looking out for in Brighton hotels, judging by reviews of other places). Staff were helpful and pleasant and the continental breakfast was delicious with some of the best smoked salmon I've tasted. We appreciated the 'green' committment eg separate rubbish bins in the bedroom. more
