Great room, location great, good value, nice and tidy airy rooms with a kit kat on arrival. Very close to the sea and most importantly a breakfast that would put the Dorchester to shame. They really go out of their way to source local ingredients and it's attention to detail like this that mean it's a great review from me... More

There having been a simple exchange of emails and texts confirming our check-in time, my partner and I knew that we had chosen an efficient and friendly place to stay this weekend. On arrival, Kathryn was very helpful in telling us everything we needed to know about the room and recommended some local restaurants and bars for our evening ahead.... More

What a gem this place is especially Sean who cannot do enough for you. We stayed in rooms 3 and 8 over the course of our stay and both were amazing. The little extra touches in the rooms such as the galaxy chocolate bars, expensive toiletries and bottled water really made it special. Both rooms have a sea view and... More

Overall, a lovely place to stay. Sean was very helpful, with prior arrangement allowing us to check in to our room early so we could get ready for the wedding we were going to. Parking was a little frustrating but this isn't the fault of the owners - it's something most hotels and guest houses in Brighton don't have the... More

Thank you very much for taking the time to write the lovely review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at The White House. I completely understand your frustration with the lack of power to the shower in room 8. I have asked several plumbers for advice about the weak pressure to the top floor and have come up... More

We stayed here for a couple nights over the august bank holiday. The warm welcome we received on arrival set the tone for our whole stay. We had room 10 which was a nice cozy room which was ideal for us. We had no problem with noise even though we were road side. It's set just off the main strip... More

Lovely B&B, clean but our room was tiny and very basic for £125 a night and we were woken by some drunk guy obviously locked out down the road. Breakfast was lovely as were the staff but felt a little shortchanged on the price as it was clearly hiked up due to the bank holiday. I'd stay again but only... More

I adored this hotel. The people are extremely friendly and care about their guests, the rooms are comfortable with some nice touches (Galaxy bar by the bed - yes please!) and the breakfast was delicious. They go to enormous efforts to make your stay a comfortable one. Highly recommended.

I loved almost everything about this place. We were greeted with a very warm welcome and staff were helpful with directions around the town. The room was really lovely and very clean and breakfast was wonderful. It was a really hot weekend so we had to sleep with the windows open, unfortunately our room was on the road side and... More

We stayed at the White House three weeks ago and we were impressed by it's location and the fact that they use free range ingredients. Proper home cooked breakfasts by Shaun. Very clam relaxing vibe and friendly staff. It have just got back from another great weekend having stayed here and we will be going back again very soon. It... More

I haven't stayed at the White House since around 2008 ish... (give or take a year). My partner and I had booked in to another guest house much nearer the pier end, it was shocking, we left and came back to the White House. As soon as I walked in the door I was reminded instantly of fond memories, and... More
