Actual hotel is set in a lovely location, very close to the front, but also close to some local shops. A nice small park area outside. Parking: granted parking is difficult at the best of times in Brighton, you can buy a car permit for £8.50 per day and the parking zone is a short walk from the hotel. I... More

For a guest house this isn't half bad. We had the room with the balcony which meant we could sit out in the sun looking towards the sea and the pier. We paid extra and had the breakfast in bed and very nice it was too. If you buy the offered parking ticket it is for Zone C,which the road... More

Some of the reviews are very unfair as the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. The beds were clean as were the rooms and bathrooms. Very well located to get to the pier and local pubs/clubs. A great weekend had by all and fabulous breakfasts too.

Just got back from a weekend stay at the Ambassador for my friends Hen night the rooms are light and bed linen, towels etc are spotless. Breakfast was top quality with plenty of it and really efficient service. All staff we encountered were lovely and really went out of their way to make sure we were happy. Nick in particular... More

We stayed over May bank holiday weekend and enjoyed it very much. The room was large and airy with a view over the back garden so quite quiet. All the plumbing worked well and there was plenty of hot water. The well stocked tea/ coffee tray was much appreciated and the flat screen TV worked fine. Breakfast was excellent and... More

I booked this b&b without checking the reviews and I'm glad I did because the reviews are very unfair in my opinion. The staff were all very attentive and friendly. The family room we had was adequate, beds and towels were clean and apart from the dubious stains on the carpet was perfectly acceptable. Breakfast was lovely and again staff... More

nice hotel and very good staff, but dearly needs up dating. Don't have a room in the front as the noise late at night is not good. Also very expensive to park a car .Also check the price of a English breakfast. Prices are displayed at a different price in the room to what is priced in the restaurant .No... More

It was late at night when I was struggling to find a room. No less than four different B&B's were full, and one innkeeper said it would be difficult for me to find a room anywhere considering how late it was. He suggested I try the Ambassador who maintain reception staff until later hours. When I phoned the Ambassador I... More
