I just can't get enough - this is my second stay from about a year ago and equally just as good: from Richard's warm and friendly welcome and guidance on good local restaurants to the absolute attention to detail and decor of the hotel, and even the small back garden is beautiful. The hotel is perfectly situated to St James's... More

Stayed here during the Brighton marathon. Very friendly owners who welcomed us warmly. Rooms seemed recently refurbished and were very clean with excellent facilities. Great welcome pack in the room with bar, cafe and restaurant recommendations. Wonderful breakfast with plenty of choice and great service. Will definitely stay here again.

After a very trying day following two long drives and a funeral we arrived at this beautiful little gem. The owner is friendly and helpful, everything is classy and tasteful and the whole place smells wonderful. Lots of lovely touches such as nice toiletries, mini mars bars and lots of tea bags. This felt like a real haven from the... More

We recently paid a trip to the UK and down to Brighton to revisit an old haunt. We looked at hotels, checked out the prices, reviews, photos, etc and, too be honest were a little underwhelmed, so we decided to check out the B&Bs. There are hundreds of them, but in our opinion you can't go wrong with this one.... More

Stayed here last weekend, everything about our stay was wonderful, even the weather. Breakfast was just right. Parking is always a problem in Brighton, my advice would be, come by train. There's enough to do in Brighton and Hove to keep most people occupied for at least a week.

Richard was really helpful regarding the reservation and suggestions for restaurants before we arrived and the hotel was great. We had a lovely room on the top floor. The water in the fridge, sweets in the room and everything you could want. Fresh milk from the fridge in the kitchen and use of champagne glasses. Cooked breakfast was great. Richard... More

Hello. First of all, I would like to say that the hotel is really great. Both owners are very helpful and friendly. There was a warm welcome. The room is not very big, but has everything you need. The amenities are of high standard. Nice touches like a bottle of mineral water and sweets. The bathroom is small, but new... More

We read a lot of positive things about this hotel and then discovered that they were all true. We were made to feel really welcome, we had a great room (large, clean, comfortable), the breakfasts were first rate - and all this in a great location. There were little touches here and there that make this an especially good hotel:... More
