Spent this weekend in Brighton at the Moreland, simple luxuries, a warm welcome and a divine room. Welcomed by Darren where nothing is too much trouble into a well kept and warm delightful guest house, and of course the dish of nostalgic sweets tempting you in the corridor, 5 mins from the sea, 15 mins to all the attractions, what... Had a lovely week at the Moreland Darren was a good host, location close to shops and all main bus routes with plenty of places to eat Our room and on suite were a little on the small side ,but we did ask for a quiet ground floor room and this was what we got which was ok. Good buffet... More

Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights at The Moreland in June. The standard room we had was far better than "standard"; with luxury toiletries, high quality bedding and great free snacks and drinks. The breakfast is also ample with a great selection of fruit, bread, cheeses and meats. Thanks for a great stay and we hope to... More

Great location close to the sea and shops. Lovely room with high quality toiletries and well-stocked welcome tray. Extensive buffet breakfast choice. Darren is friendly and helpful and obviously takes great pride in the service he provides to his guests. We will be back.

I booked fairly late and got the last available room on a busy weekend. Wasn't I lucky ... I found this superb B&B purely by accident, but will now not look at anywahere else if we come back to Brighton. Great location near seafront and surrounded by good places to eat and next to lively shopping street (Western Street) which... More

We would normally stay in an hotel rather than a Bed and Breakfast but after searching for a weekend break in Brighton The Moreland looked to offer better value than many of your standard chain hotels. We struck gold. This small small B and B is ideally situated close to both the seafront and the buzzing restaurant and shopping area.... More

Our room was clean and had everything we could need, with nice touches such as mini fridge and plenty of accessories. Excellent continental breakfast with plenty of choice and good service. We will return and... More

Darren could not have been more helpful. We booked way ahead so we were able to park outside the house, which was such a bonus. The room was welcoming, comfortable, lovely bed linen with all accessories were there. Breakfast was delicious, plentiful and with very good coffee. Darren recommended The Lion & Lobster restaurant/pub nearby for a family celebration and... More

We had a lovely weekend at The Moreland which is centrally located, just up from the seaside and near the shops. Our room was large with a slipper bath in it, plus a nice shower and toilet room. There was a good choice of drinks on the tray, biscuits and even an Easter bunny (as it was Easter!). Breakfast was... More

I had a lovely spacious room which offered every comfort, including a complimentary tray of tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc and a selection of tempting chocolate bars and biscuits. There was even a fridge for chilling my drinks and gorgeous products to use in the bathroom. If you fancy an early night there's a huge selection of DVDs to choose... More
