i have just had the plesure of staying in this building site with scaffolding everywhere and ladders left outside the lift all the time in our 2 days at this mould smelling excuse for a 3 star hotel it took me over an hour to find it as the name was covered up by scaffolding and when we did find... more

Where to start!?! We booked this as a romantic 'getaway' for our anniversary, and the only thing we wanted to do was 'getaway' from the hotel! Firstly, finding the place was great fun, it took us almost 30 minutes of driving round in circles before realising the hotel was hidden behind scaffolding for the building work. None of which was... more

Stayed here for 5 nights while on business. about a 10 minute walk from the Brighton Center. The rooms have recently been refurbished so all were very clean, Hotel reception area is very dated and the carpets were well worn on the stairs and the banisters were shakey. Breakfast is served to you, it's not a help yourself job. You... more

Just returned from two nights at this hotel which if I had gone by the recent reviews I wouldn't have touched with the proverbial barge pole. To say this is the worse hotel one reviewer had stayed in says a lot more about them than the hotel my wife and I and two friends experienced Sure its a bit tired... more

Really pleased with this hotel. Staff were really helpful and friendly. We had a great 'sea view' room which, for the money we paid, was brilliant. This is not a modern hotel but it has character. Breakfast is good. Great location for Brighton. On the sea front and walking distance to everything. In terms of value for money (£79 including... more

This hotel is a really bad place to stay. the car park is so small, only the end 4 cars are able to get out the car park!!! to go to your room you have to go up some narrow cranky old stairs with very low ceilings. The room we had was on the second floor and our door to... more

Me and my 3 friends stayed here as a cheap one night stay to go out on the town in brighton for my friends b day. There is limited parking on site which they say they charge for but we were not charged!- very pleased with that. If you cant park there then there is parking close by and taxis... more

Just after the holidays I thought it would be nice to book a nice hotel on the sea front at Brighton for myself and my partner. The room was advertised, correctly, as being a large room with a view directly over the sea. The room, in terms of its aspect, was perfect - looking straight out to sea, which was... more

The heater doesn't work in the rooms(e.g. room 412, 413). Be aware if you book this hotel in winter! more
