Pros: The bohemian style, the relaxed atmosphere, the breakfast Cons: Not sure carpets in bathrooms is a good idea! Rooms are small, but that can be forgiven. The good points: nice little hotel with a relaxed atmosphere and quite bohemian decor. Good little bar that stays open to 11pm, breakfast was excellent and served in a lovely room. Not too... More

Stayed for six nights whilst on business. States it is on Oriental place but entrance is actually in Sillwood street. Bedroom was small and TV was the size on an IPad..! Wifi was useless in room and constantly cut in and out. That's all the bad bits..... Now for the good....... Bed was very comfy and shower lovely.. Breakfast was... More

We've stayed at Neo three times now and they never fail to impress! Each room is designed beautifully with its own quirky style, the breakfast is to die for with so many options to choose from. The staff are so friendly and attentive and it's in the perfect location for all Brighton has to offer... if you ever make it... More

Booked on late rooms got a midweek cheap deal £75 for two; lovely room Egyptian cotton sheets scrumptious chinoiserie decor. The breakfast was brilliant and included in the price, in a sunny corner room with interesting art work and again the oriental themed interior. Big windows onto the street i could of sat there all day. Cool cocktail bar as... More

We booked at 12.30am to stay that evening, spur of the moment and we did not regret it. It is well located just off the seafront in an area with plenty of places to eat and drink. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated, you have everything you need in your room. I noticed the free sat box but we... More

We decided last minute to take a trip to Brighton for a few days with our two teenage daughters and chose The Neo for it's beautiful quirky interior, we were not disappointed when we arrived and was met by a friendly young lady who booked us in and gave us a map of Brighton. The rooms were beautifully decorated, we... More

We stayed overnight in room 9. It's a small room but perfectly adequate for a short stay, and is very stylishly decorated as is the whole hotel. The staff were all really friendly and breakfast was excellent. They welcomed our little dog too! We'll happily return. For the car, we booked and parked at independent Regency Secure Parking which is... More

We spent a couple of nights in Brighton and the Neo is a great base. Close to the front and a pleasant walk to the Laines and night life. We stayed in room 1 which was large, clean and well decorated. The bathroom just had a shower but had a rainfall head which was lovely! You have to get the... More

Stayed here overnight while visiting family and the Brighton Festival. Our room was clean, comfortable, and quiet overnight. The breakfast in the light sunny breakfast room was delicious with a good choice of food. Service was excellent throughout our stay and genuinely friendly. Altogether this small hotel is a stylish place, maybe a little worn around the edges, maybe a... More

I stayed here in 2005, but it looks like it hasn't been decorated since! Really run down, different owners now and shouldn't be in the Alastair Sawdey guide. The room description on the website is not accurate particularly with room 8. The room smells of drains and the internet doesn't work either. The windows do not close and so the... More

Dear James, Firstly thank you for leaving a review on trip advisor, We take all feedback positively and are very sorry you were unhappy with your stay.
