This well priced hotel had a comfortable bed in a good sized bedroom and supplied all the little extra's that make life easier for travellers - bottled water, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner and even mouth wash. Breakfast was not included in the price. I had the continental breakfast which was adequate. more

The Hotel asked for full payment on arrival which we found a little odd as usually this is required on departure. Our room was then not cleaned the next day, not nice to return to dirty coffee cups etc. After we complained, fresh tea & coffee was provided with the offer of a free drink at the bar in the... more

It feels like your home with its relaxing atmosphere and friendly staff. The hotel is at the heart of Brighton and it is close to seafront, Brighton Pier, Royal Albion, Sea Life... etc. If you want to enjoy your wine with rich and delicious French cuisine, Gullivers and New Steine Hotel is the best choice in the city! Just returned from an overnight stay at this lovely little find. Staff were fantastic and moved our room without question to accommodate my health problem. We ate at the bistro a few doors down and found the food to be superb and of very high quality, the owner finding the time to chat and discuss our trip to see simply... more

Sorry but have to agree with previous reviewer.... Had booked to stay here beginning of March for one night. On arrival we asked to see the room before we paid for it. The twin room we were shown was right next to reception on the ground floor, quite dark, at the rear of the building , looking out on to... more

I was in Brighton for a job interview, and needed a place to stay for the weekend...I was intrigued by the idea of a 'boutique hotel', and booked in to Gullivers for two nights. I feel guilty about writing a bad review of a place that so many other people have commented on favourably, but I can only conclude that... more

Our welcome was friendly without being obsequious; we were taken up to our room and given all relevant information - but then it felt like our space. The balance between presence and intrusion can be difficult to achieve in a small hotel, but Gullivers manages it... the room was sparkling clean, and the decor contemporary. The view from the sea-facing... more

The Georgian townhouse was a great home from home. Newly decorated with neutral, comfortable rooms. Great location near the Sealife Centre. Staff were very friendly and although we arrived early our room was ready and we were shown to it and explained the amenities. We would definately stay here again if returning to Brighton. more
