I had a great time staying at Happy Brighton recently with friends. The hostel is in a great location just seconds from the seafront and really easy walking distance into the city centre. I loved the pods! You have the fun of sharing a dorm with friends whilst also having your own privacy. The owner Alex was really helpful and... More

I was only there one night, but lots of people milling about downstairs cooking and relaxing together, a lot of thought put into all the facilities available for cooking, washing clothes etc.. Really clean, great value and perfect location. Highly recommend.

Happy Brighton is a friendly and exciting place to stay. It's a fantastic location, right in the heart of Brighton and less than 1 minutes walk from the beach! The owner and the rest of the staff were fun and very professional! I would recommend Happy Brighton to anyone looking for great value, great location, great comfort and security and... More

I could not recommend more highly. Incredible location- the staff were incredibly friendly to make you feel at home and the place was extremely keen. Absolutely loved the private 'pods' making this the best place I have stayed in Brighton. I will be coming back!

Stayed here whilst visiting some friends, was such a nice hostel! So close to the seafront too, about a 60 second walk. There's even a home cinema in the basement. The decor is really nice and theres Japanese pods which means you can get peace and quiet at night. Five stars!!!

We stayed here one night, could have easily stayed for a week. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and made us feel at home from the moment we walked through the door. The ensuite dorm was excellent. Very clean and with nice views out to the pier. The pod beds are a great touch. Super cosy and add that... More

Had a great nights sleep, minutes walk from Brighton pier. Very clean, safe and colourful. Helpful and attentive hosts, who made you feel very welcome. Would definitely recommend if you are just popping into Brighton for the weekend or even longer. Great view from our bedroom too!

Clean, friendly, awesome location with nice communal areas and the pods give you your own privacy which is nice for a hostel - and really comfy too. Would definitely return. Thanks Alex and Alice, 10/10!

Wonderful stay and wonderful people. Alex and Alice are fantastic hosts and the atmosphere is great. The pods are really great idea as very cozy and private. The location is very central-just in front of the Brighton Pier. Would love to go back!!

Me and 7 friends stayed here last weekend. We stayed in 'pods' which had blackout blinds, and were ideal as we all got to stay in the same room and be social, but still had a good night sleep and some privacy. We walked everywhere as it's in the heart of Brighton, right on the beach. It has a great... More
