For £155 a night for a kingsize marina room I expected more. Im paying for the view so perhaps a chair to sit on, on the expensive balcony or even a clean balcony would be nice. The room was modern to look at but on closer inspection the bathroom was shoddy with cracks and dirt and was definitely edging towards... More

Booked originally to stay Friday night only. Room very spacious and clean. Good sized bed for our 2 year old. Very quiet room. Only issue - room very warm! Had such a lovely time on the Saturday in Brighton we managed to get a room for Saturday night also, only 2 rooms left! Second room a bit more noisey but... More

Just spent 2 lovely nights here. The accessible room was very pleasant. Plentiful handrails around the lavatory, and a lowered basin at a good height for a wheelchair user, as well as a basin at 'standard' height. The bath is not very accessible though and the shower is fixed over it, only one handrail in the bath. The hotel staff... More

Visited for afternoon tea prior to treatments at Spa Tara. Luckily we had allowed plenty of time as service was very slow, once our tea had arrived it was very generous, scones were fresh and delicious, sandwich fillings great although bread was a little dry around the edges as though they had been sitting around for a while. Pots of... More

We selected this hotel as the first of our honeymoon minibreaks (we have young daughters so 24 hours away from them is long enough). We decided we'd like to give Brighton a go, and as we were treating ourselves, £155 for a sunday night seemed to promise an element of luxury. The first thing I noticed was that the inside... More

I booked this place for a weekend away and paid more for an upgrade with a view of the marina, breakfast and a dinner in the hotel's restaurant. For just under a £400 for the weekend, there were too many things which were wrong with this hotel for me to give it any more stars. PARKING First, as has been... More

First the plus points: service barely adequate, room poor, food poor. If you are arriving and leaving by taxi you could get away with an expensive, not very good, stay. If you are arriving by car then you need to book a different hotel. On arrival you will find that the small space allocated for guest set down is completely... More

Many thanks for your review, I am disappointed to hear your negative comments about your experience with us. In regards to the hotel car park, we offer free parking at the Marina car park a short walk from the hotel with a direct link from level 6 to the Mermaid walk where we are situated. We are one of the... More

We found the hotel to be clean and in a lovely, slightly quieter location than the city centre with an easy bus trip into Brighton. The car park is free which is unusual for Brighton hotels and is a short walk away. If you park on level 6 you are on the boardwalk level which makes your walk even easier... More

Many thanks for your lovely review following your recent stay. We are lucky to offer free car park just a short walk from the hotel, something that is rare for Brighton. We have recently just had a new Head Chef, Mark Pattison join us who has a wealth of experience from working in Brighton and I am sure we will... More

We are currently enjoying a lovely 2 night stay in Hotel Seattle and it's lovely! I was anxious coming to this hotel 1. Because we are a young couple and it's quite pricey and 2. Because of some reviews on here were a bit off putting! But I thought I would give a helpful honest review as I haven't seen... More

Many thanks for taking the time post your detailed and honest review of the Seattle. The Brighton Marina is a lovely area with plenty to offer alongside excellent routes into the main Pier. We stayed at this hotel for a couple of day's and had a lovely time perfect views and like a little village and community away from the hustle and bustle of the main town centre which we also enjoy but it very quite and lovely.

Dear Anita Many thanks for taking the time to post a review. I am new to the hotel but I have fell in love with the Marina community already, it has so much to offer. We are very proud to offer the best views of the Marina and also to be part of the Marina family. We very much look... More
