We wanted just one special night to get away from it all in a romantic bubble and we certainly chose the perfect venue. We stayed in the Beijing Dragon room and it more than lived up to expectations. It was certainly an alternative room to stay in decor-wise and we were impressed with the creative attention to detail. It was... More

Stayed at the Royal Pavillion in June, and had a very mixed experience. Arrived to get a nice room - the "Tudor Rose", which was full of charm. Nice decorations, full of character. Nice large clean bathroom with spa jets in a large bath tub. Bed was a large canopy bed, and the room also had tv, free-view and DVD... More

Stayed in Brighton for 4 days just after the Easter weekend at the RPT and really enjoyed our stay. We were in the "Chambre de Louis" room, fab room. Very grand, with a lovely view over Regency Square. As you accessed the suite via a small private hallway with doors to the bedroom & the bathroom, it feels more like... More

we have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel and would have to agree with the recent poor review given. We stayed in the beijing dragon room which, for the money, we felt had been overstated on the web site. The noises of creaking floorboards in the room above kept us awake, along with the cold as... We have just returned from a visit to the Royal Pavillion townhouse hotel. We stayed in the Chinoise room. The sixty stairs climb to the room was a bit of a surprise and when you climb it three times a day - you can certainly feel it. There is nothing four star about this hotel but the staff are very friendly... More

I was really shocked to read the previous review slating this lovely little hotel. This is the second time that we have stayed here and the first time that we ate in the restaurant ( Grays ) attached to the hotel. The service and food were an absoulute treat and we really enjoyed it. The room was warm and inviting... More

The Lianne room we stayed in was average for what we payed ( not the full rate of £250 thankfully )but lots of flaws with this hotel: 1) Service is Terrible. The people (i call them people as they never introduced themselves)that run this hotel really have no idea how to treat customers and should not be in the hospitality... More

Management response:

It is with great regret when I read on rare occasions that a customer has not had a good experience whilst staying at the hotel or dining at Grays restaurant, especially when such effort by all involved in the business is put into making your stay and eating experience an such enjoyable one. Firstly, on behalf of the owners and... More

We have just returned from our three night stay at the Royal Pavillion Townhouse hotel - Brighton. After hours of searching the net for a romantic engagement break away we stumbled on this unique family run hotel. In a perfect location opposite a beautifully manicured square with views of the seafront. Brightons shops are all literally a stones throw away... More

We stayed in the Beijing Dragon room which was absolutely stunning decor wise with a jacuzzi bath... lovely! We were greeted at reception by a power cut although not the hotels fault they still apologised profusely and it was not long before we had light again. The staff were extremely friendly and breakfast was served promptly. The major problem we... More

Firstly, I would like to apologise for the chill in your room and I shall check the window immediately. With regards to double glazing, we would also like to install this but the hotel is a listed building and we are unable to do this. On your next visit please ask for me directly and we will make sure your... More

What a treat !. Excellent service from the start, great welcome from receptionists, both of whom were very helpful and friendly. It was my wife's birthday so they kindly upgraded our room to the excellent Beijing Dragon room and ensured that her birthday cards were delivered to our room in the morning. Will definitely go back again next year. Highly... More
