My partner and I stayed here for 4 days to celebrate our anniversary. After reading a couple of bad reviews I was a little worried about what we might find. We had the Chambre Louis and it was as beautiful as advertised. There was a bit of the curtain hanging down but it was only a small bit and didnt... more

Hi Just returned from a one night stay at this "Hotel" It felt more like a B&B and though the rooms were outwardly opulent the furniture was of poor rickety quality. There was no view from my Prince Regent Room as it boarded up on the balconyand when I arrived was told to make sure that no one followed me... more

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and when I first saw the room I was astonded, it was great. We were in the bejing dragon. I noticed on most surfaces that there was a little dust but not too bad and other than that I certainly saw nom mould anywhere or anything unpleasant. I was a little disappointed... more

Hotel owner / staff very polite, friendly & helpful, Hotel it's self was very nice, clean & welcoming. Our room " Le Chambre De Louis" was spacious & airy, with a balcony which was an added bonus. The bathroom was well presented & the Jacuzzi Bath was very relaxing. The food was very good. Overall the hotel has paid alot... more

After reading the reviews we decided to make up our own mind on this quaint hotel. Im glad we did as we found the stay a awesome experience. We were given two choices of room when we were greeted and choose the prince room. Tom expained about parking to us and showed us to our room. The decor was beautifull... more

Met by one of the owners on arrival who had obviously been drinking , after check in we never saw another member of staff until breakfast next day .We stayed in the Prince Regent room on the first floor, room had good decor, but paintwork was old and flaking and in desperate need of refreshing ,as was the whole place really.... more

Love it here. Stayed twice now and will stay again. Choosing a different room each time. The rooms are all individually themed and full of character. The staff are friendly and helpful. Great location too. Negatives are the breakfast which was a bit 'thrown together' and the paintwork could do with a bit of TLC here and there. The climb... more

A hotel ‘experience’ that could have been great, but instead was slightly better than crap. Stayed for 4 nights, and was greeted on arrival by one of the three owners who was pissed at 11:30 on a Monday morning. In fact when we saw him later that day at around 7pm and he still smelled of alcohol. We took the... more

Stayed one night here and not in a particular rush to return. Room was clean, though carpet quite stained. Also noted unattractive stain on back of bedspread. Bathroom very nice. Bed not great. Breakfast very poor - very stale croissants (brick like), off grapefruit juice (fizzy), cold toast and ungenerous portions of cooked items which seemed to have been sitting... more
