Easily the best hotel in the chain. Excellent service, excellent quality, excellent location, a wine cellar to die for, a passionate management team and a great approach to food and drink. Pub du Vin is also worth a visit, as are the restaurants and bars. Brighton is an awesome place, vibrant and energetic, and this is the only hotel you... More

I'd recommend staying here however we were given a room right at the top of the hotel with a lower ceiling - the service, wine and breakfast was first class just be mindful of the rooms that you're given and the rooms advertised. The bathrooms are excellent and was almost as big as the room itself...rain forest shower and large... More

The hotel is in a great location, right on the seafront and close to the lanes. We stayed in a Superior Double room and were not disappointed. The decor was lovely and the room was beautifully clean. The staff are efficient and provide a good service. Breakfast is pleasant with plenty of choice. The Eggs Benedict is delicious! Be aware... More

Wonderful staff who made our trip very special. Especially the champagne. I didn't expect such great time in a chain hotel. Many thanks to Paul who was outstanding he couldn't do enough. Parking is the only problem.

We have stayed at the Tunbridge Hotel du Vin many times and loved it, I don't mind paying over the odds when it's worth it but the Brighton Hotel du Vin definitely isn't. We just booked for one night in a superior room-to go to a show. At first glance the room looked lovely but an incessant squeaking from the... More

This was my family's first stay at this hotel and it was very enjoyable. It's situated a stone's throw away from the beach and a short walk to the shops. We were greeted at the front desk by enthusiastic and happy staff and welcomed energetically which is always a good way to start ones stay. We had our dog in... More

Have visited Hotel Du Vin in Brighton a couple of times with family and my husband. I highly recommend the Sunday Brunch- 4 courses- the best being the market table. Really great high quality food and good service. We have stayed in the hotel itself too- really beautiful, a little on the pricey side. Try to get a room near... More

Stayed 2 nights. Nice but compact room. All staff were very friendly and accomodating. There was a wedding on both nights but neither caused any issues. Had a meal at the restaurant which was brasserie style. 6.5 out of 10. Good and charming service but food was okay. Nothing special. Great location for the lanes but nowhere to park and... More

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Hotel du Vin Brighton is situated in the Lanes conservation area, a pebbles' throw from the seafront. Its 49 bedrooms are housed in a collection of eccentric Gothic revival and mock Tudor buildings erected, appropriately by a wine merchant on the site of an old inn. Among many interesting features are a heavily carved staircase and bizarre gargoyles, while the original double-height hall now houses the wine bar and Laroche tasting room. The perfect venue for a picturesque wedding or party is the impressively large and airy Dome room. For the best tankered of local ale, Pub du Vin is one of Brighton city center's treasures with its classic pub dining. Out with the Brighton hotel is the wonder and inspiring town itself, with quaint streets dotted with fabulous shops, and of course the famous pier and promenade. ... more   less
