We ate here as its my finances favourite restaurant. After our visit, I don't know why! Yes the food was good but don't have waiters who constantly speak down to their colleagues as it spoils the experience. I don't think that I will be going back!

We stayed here for a wedding and although we arrived early for check in, we were found a room at once as we needed to get changed. The room was smart and comfortable, and well stocked with nice things. Also a decent hair dryer and an iron and ironing board. We had a really lovely breakfast the next day. It's... More

Arrived for a much needed break and found the Brighton Hotel du Vin a poor experience in comparison to its equivalent in Poole. Customer service is rather overlooked - small things added up to a disappointing stay - no usual lunch menu on arrival because the hotel wanted to serve a buffet type brunch; having to ask three times for... Have stayed in other Hotel Du Vin hotels in different locations but first time in Brighton. We stayed on their settle in Sunday offer so if we spent £75 in the bistro we got the room for £75. The bistro spend is easily achieved as food and drink not cheap but certainly not bad value. They'd run out of moules... More

When I first checked in, I was shown to a courtyard room that was one of the most unwelcoming I've ever seen, and certainly unexpected in a hotel in this price bracket. It was claustrophobic, with no windows other than one above the front door, and subject to courtyard noise, so I refused to accept it. Although they were booked... More

Stayed here for 2 days in July. Coming from Barbados, i must say that the service here is on Par with a luxury Caribbean Hotel. I was very impressed from the reception staff, the bar staff, and also the main restaurant. The breakfast was very tasty and the selection was plentiful. The room itself was very well appointed with great... More

For my best friend's hen do we booked a gin tasting and cocktail making class at hotel du vin. whilst researching the class, hotel du vin came out as the best value and easiest to get to, and the staff were extremely helpful in arranging everything. on the night we had a private room overlooking the courtyard and our cocktail... Having read glowing reports of this hotel we were disappointed to find that beneath the glitzy veneer it was no more that average. Food average and service slow particular at breakfast. At dinner the restaurant was noisy and the tables are placed too closely which prevents conversation above a whisper. With the noise level of multiple occupancy tables this presents... More

I love this hotel. I have been going there for a few years and it has never left me dissapointed. It can be a little on the pricey side but the food, service, rooms etc all make the price worth while. They also do a superb Sunday brunch for £25 per head for a four course feast. Great hotel and...
