our third stay at nineteen and the usual friendly welcome from the proprietor. somehow it's a real comfort to arrive there after a long journey. a lot of thought about travellers needs has been built into the concept. the weather was atrocious so we spent more time in our room than before but it was comfortable, particularly the bed ,and... more

This is the second time that we have stayed at Nineteen (which in itself says a lot). The reasons that we returned include: accurate info on the website- you know exactly the type of room you are paying for (so no surprises on arrival!); location (very convenient, full of character); extensive choice of drinks that you can make yourself in... more

We were impressed by the pictures of the hot-tub and room on the website but in reality it was nothing like the pictures. Its was dirty and run down. The toilet brush in the moldy bathroom was disgusting and made us heave. The towel rail was broken so nowhere to hang the towels after a shower. There were no chairs... more

After a horrendous journey travelling from Birmingham and being an hour and a half late for check-in Mark (owner) greeted us with a smile and sympathised at our nightmare. Our first impressions were great. The den room was lovely, airy and bright, decorated in minimalist white with Art work hung to give bursts of colour . Bed was very comfortable.... more

This is a conveniently-located (on a road leading to the seafront) guest house which I bookedthrough Laterooms.com. The hotel proprietor phoned soon after to confirm the booking himself. This hotel prides itself on service and rightly so - everything was provided that we could have wanted, including a fan and even earplugs against the seagull noise (one of the drawbacks... more

We stayed in the Courtyard room ,which meant we had a private hot tub to ourselves. It was very relaxing, especially in the evening when you can switch on the outside mood lighting. Absolutely loved the breakfast in bed service, which is available til 11.00am, so you can have a lie in. Great selection of continental breakfasts. Perfect. We also... more

We booked the whole hotel for our wedding earlier this year, each room is individually styled with some great artwork, only a stones throw from the pier it is the ideal location. We stayed in The Courtyard room and couldn't have asked for more, the hot tub was fab, the breakfast is great and complimentary champagne on a weekend is... more

I had a lovely welcome. The room was bright and airy. There was a lot little added extras in the room that made it that little bit extra special. Bed was comfy, u can choose ne of the dvds to watch from downstairs. The art was amusing and for specific taste. It is close to the seafront and town centre... more

Just come back from Nineteen! I booked through Late rooms and read all the reviews before making my mind up. Most reviews said it was top notch........it isn't. Late rooms must have a policy of only allowing great reviews onto its website in order for you to book through them!!!! OK here's the good. Mark, the owner tries his best... more
