I stayed at this hotel for one night in November. It is located opposite Preston Park and is a little way out of the Town Centre and a fair distance from the train station. I wouldn't have liked to have made my way back to the hotel on my own at night time as it is in a very quiet... More

I visit a couple of times a year and normally stay either here or at the sea front one. The staff are great and Roan was particuarly pleasant. The room wasnt hoovered during the 4 days I stayed despite it needing it. They had a tendancy to leave the light on in the bathroom all day while I was out... More

It's a travelodge it does what it says on the tin. It's basic, but clean. I have stayed here on numerous occasions and always found teh staff friendly and the checking in process to be smooth The breakfst, in my opinion, is good value with plenty of choice. I have never eaten at the hotel for dinner but there seems... More

Stayed in Travelodge Brighton Preston road Paid £92 late booking .On arrival we notice not very clean leaves in reception floor The man at the desk was very polite and we were given our room card very promptly and told which way to go to the room.Once we enter the room we notice it was tidy but had no telephone... My two friends and I stayed in the Travelodge Brighton for a gig we were going to at The Concorde 2 in November. We only stayed the night and it was fine for what we wanted, we had a family room and the room was one of the largest I have stayed in through any hotel. Only problem is it's... More

Awful place, yes we only paid £19 for the night but I don't expect to stay somewhere so dirty. We checked in at 2pm and the reception area was filty with a spilt drink on the floor and the days rubbish which had either been dropped or brought in on shoes - the next morning at 9am all the rubbish... We stayed for one night on the 5th floor facing the rear in November to attend a family get-together in Brighton. Good points - Friendly staff, very cheerful breakfast ladies, walkable (20-25 mins) down into Brighton and the Royal Pavilion (now that was fabulous!) Can leave car there all day for £5. Not so good points - very tired, really... More

This is the most scuffiest hotel I have ever stayed in. Dirty, scruffy, everything worn out in bedroom, damp on the walls, hole in the bathroom door, cold water tap knob was missing, heating not working. Pillows and duvet were the thinnest I have ever come across. Carpets needed hoovering. Breakfast area consisted on only about 6 tables, bacon at... More

The area around this hotel is completely known to me, since many years ago I attended a school which was on the site where the hotel now stands. The school was not very good, and neither is the hotel. Scruffy and in need of a refurb. However as I was only using it as a base the facilities were acceptable.... More

We stayed at this hotel a few times. It is a typical Travelodge so you know what you are getting. Our room was clean but some of the corridors are tatty and the lift wasn't very clean. it's in a fairly quiet location but you can get some road noise. The location isn't that good for access to the town... More
