Booked a family room and went for cheapness having paid over the odds for boutique hotels in Brighton before. Was impressed by: - overall decent quality and cleanliness - large family room - comfortable beds - friendly & competent staff - decent location, 15 mins walk to the Lanes - very reasonable parking charge (£5 for 24 hours) - good... We went to a party in Brighton and stayed overnight in this Travelodge. Oh dear ! Their claim to have refurbished may be true but the room was run down. The curtains were too thin to keep out the light. There were not any face flannels and only one hand towel for the two of us. Oh yes and no... More

I have reason to visit Brighton on business and always on the look out for affordable, clean hotels with good location. This Travelodge ticks all my boxes and I will use this hotel for future business and leisure visits. Very friendly staff. Room was extremely comfortable and spacious. Bed was a dream (pardon the pun). Shower - great water pressure... More

stayed in the hotel for one night on the way to goodwood festival of speed. nice enough room. could do with a little bit more attention to detail when vacuming get behind the doors. car park is expensive and jam packed with vans making it hard to find a space for your car. need better parking.

We had a wonderful stay at this very clean and friendly Travelodge. Had breakfast, which was faultless. The only downside for us is that it was a 50minute walk to the front but busses and taxis were easily available.

very clean and nice hotel. Very good price. Rooms are hugh. The location is very good. The team is very helpful. The bus is just in front of the hotel and it's good to park with a van. It's impossible to park a van in the town center of Brighton that's why we choose this hotel.

Having stayed in a few Travelodge hotels, I thought I knew what to expect. This place had pleasant enough staff, but it was dirty. I had to use the lifts, but I was concerned about the state of them, expecting them to break down. The room was dirty and had thick dust in all the corners, the toilet was not... More

I recently stayed in Brighton at the Travelodge on a Sunday evening as I was attending a meeting the next day. On arrival there was no one present on reception. A young lady came out of the back office and said the receptionist would be back soon! The car park does not belong to the hotel so has to be... More

The hotel is half an hour's walk from the centre of Brighton, but because of this, it's cheap and has a car park you can leave a car in for £5 a day - which, compared to anywhere I could find any closer to the middle of the city, is a steal. If you're visiting Brighton by car, this is... More

Had the top floor family room. Nice view spacious room. No frills but comfy beds. Had to park in the rear carpark.... getting in and out required a 35 point turn due to locals parking on road.. but at least I got a space. Restaurant is too small but breakfast was hot and edible. Very busy with hen and stag... More
