Just back from one night stay at Abbey Lodge. Nice room, clean. Lovely linen and comfy bed. En suite a bit cold depsite radiator being on, but that is only very minor comment. Lovely hot shower. Breakfast excellent and Andrew very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay at Abbey Lodge again and recommend. As others have said, very good value.

We stayed here for the night last weekend. It was perfect. Not too far from the centre of Brighton, clean and comfortable, we felt right at home! Great value for money too, and the breakfast was great (and included in the price). Our host Andrew was soooo helpful and welcoming, it really couldn't have been better. We will definitely be... We stayed at this charming guest house in August 2013 and enjoyed every moment of it. We had a room on the first floor overlooking the street which had nice view and was very quite. Our room was de lux and we had a private bathroom - we preffed it this way. But on our floor there were two more... More

Stayed two nights at the Abbey Lodge and were made welcome from the moment we arrived by Lindsay and Dean. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they soon sorted out parking permits for us and advised us on best places to visit and restaurants. The accommodation is kept spotless with lots of little treats, and the breakfast is... More

Facilities provided were clean. Would recommend this and will probably only stay here when we come again. when you park just pop in and ask for a parking permit, day... More

Great location, short walk to all the bars in town. We had the 4 poster bed room with sofa bed - 4 of us staying and the sofa bed was large enough and comfy enough for 2. Lindsey was extremely helpful, and brought us breakfast in our room the next day, now thats service! Would definitely stay again.

Stayed in twin room during weekend of festival - had an amazing time! Great location, very easy going and nice staff, nice big quiet room. Bathroom is shared but that was no problem. Individually cooked breakfast tasty and a good way to start the day. Overall very good experience. Read some of the other reviews on here and if you... More

Just returned from the Abbey Lodge. It's your typical seaside B & B, in need of an update but functional and in a fairly good position for both city centre and other attractions. Nathan is one of the best hosts that we have encountered. Nothing is too much trouble and he cooks a mean breakfast too. Unfortunately for the Abbey... More
