I stayed in Room 223, it was a twin bedded room with a view over a back street. The window only opened a little way but at least you could get some air in. My special requests was a non-smoking room and well aired, but when I arrived it smelt of cigs. The actually room has probably recently been redeocrated,... more

We paid £69 for a "superior room with sea view" on a last minute style website (however this rate was also available on the hotels actual website). First of all, the location is superb, right on the seafront with "The Lanes" shopping area behind. Upon arrival at 12pm (before the allocated check-in time), we were swiftly checked into our room,... more

The location of this hotel is perfect, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. They recommended restaurants to my partner and I, and even offered to book us a table. I couldnt have expected more. Overall, I enjoyed my stay immensly and would come again. more

I have stayed in this hotel a number of times now and really cannot fault it. The location is superb right on the beach front, the more expensive rooms look out over the front and the piers. The standard rooms overlook the roads to the rear of the hotel but I have never had a problem with them. The size... more

I really liked this hotel. All the staff were friendly, the room was immaculate and the food was excellent. Only niggle was that the wireless broadband didn't seem to be working. more

My patner and I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. We were allocated a room at the back of the hotel, which overlooked a very famous strip club! Needless to say it was noisy all day from traffic, throughout the night into the early hours from clubbers, and then from 6am with the recycling collectors. The room itself needed... more

Probably worth starting this review by telling you that my husband and I run a 4* hotel in the Suffolk countryside, so some of things I will mention are probably more with my "hotel hat" on. We came here for a three night holiday before Easter kicks in. We're both early thirtysomethings. The Queens is a splendid building, with its... more

My first impression from the Queens Hotel was that it was past its prime, the outside of the hotel is not much to look at. However once you walk through the doors and are greeted by the friendly staff, this perception changes immediately. The Hotel Lobby was nicely decorated and offered free internet access for those lacking a computer, and... more

The location of the hotel is ideal for anywhere you might want to visit in Brighton. It is near the pier, right on the seafront, giving you amazing views. It is also next to nightlife and shopping. The hotel was very well presented, and looked rather posh, although the overall feeling was very relaxed. The hotel room (Executive seaview double)... more
