A lovely and quiet hotel. Friendly staff and the owner is very welcoming. Breakfast was great and freshly cooked. The hotel is close enough to enjoy Brightons lively atmosphere, but not too close to hear it. However this hotel is not one for the faint hearted as there are seven flights of stairs if you are in the top rooms

This hotel is extremely outdated & frankly dirty. It is listed as a hotel / B&B, yet they have no dining area & no breakfast to what we saw. Shower drainage in my room was rubbish, Water rose quickly above my feet & took over 10 minutes to drain away. Rooms I saw were all outdated & dirty. One room... More

I have just had a 3 night stay at the Regency, a lovely boutique hotel in Regency square overlooking the promenade and seafront. The room was small but spotless with a lovely comfy bed and the manager/owner and staff were most helpful. I would highly recommend. Perfect position for shopping (Churchill square) hundreds of restaurants and all the beachside amusements.

I came here in June for a week as i was doing my work experience at the Hilton Hotel and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. So many great things to comment on, I'm not sure where to start! - The staff were so friendly. I had to leave around 8.45 to get to work and cooked... More

Perfect location with parking opposite, we were expecting it to be a bit noisy but no disturbances even with the window open. Our room was very small with the tiniest of bathrooms. However, for our quick overnight stay that was all that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. The room has a wonderful sea view although currently it is... More

We stayed for a 'hen weekend' the end of March and had the whole hotel they looked after us so well and nothing was too much trouble for them. The rooms where clean and plenty of tea making which is very important to me. If I am in Brighton again I would definately stay herd

Stayed for one night at the Regency mid week. Our room was on the first floor at the front of the hotel. First impressions on entering the room was the sheer opulence of it. The room was massive and tastefully decorated in a Regency style, with a balcony overlooking the sea. The bed was the biggest four poster I have... More

Stayed here for four nights during our anniversary and attended events at the Brighton Fringe Festival. Friendly and welcoming owner. Room was quiet from outside noise, though had thin walls and could hear other residents. Beautiful four poster bed, very comfortable and feather pillows meant we had a good nights sleep. Hair dryer, large mirror and iron in room very... More

The hotel looks nice but it isn't. It's not that the bulding is old and crooked, thats part of the charm, but everything is old, not very clean, cheap, tiny, noisy. It really should be refurbished from A to Z (maybe all England should). Just avoid this hotel. But Brighton is a lovely town.
