Lovely quirky room. We stayed for 3 days for bed and breakfast and had a wonderful time. The manager James was lovely and very helpful with everything, nothing was too much trouble. He even left chocolates and champagne in our room to help us celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. The hotel is about 5 minutes away from Churchill Square... More

Stayed for 2 nights over bank holiday. Paid a good price compared to the rest of the hotels on this weekend! Very pleased with what we got for our money... warm welcome the landlord was friendly with good banter! Had the top room described as 'feminine' which was concerning but was really not that bad and decor is not my... More

A lovely hotel, run by a very kind and helpful manager James. Nothing was too much trouble for him. We were there to celebrate my birthday and anniversary and chocolates and champagne was left in our room. The location is in a quiet square, but only a 5 minute walk away from Churchill Shopping centre and 2 minutes to the... More

Have visited Brighton many times and stayed in several different hotels, of varying quality. We have seen the hotels on Regency Square before and thought they would be good places to stay, but this was the time first we had stayed there. We were not disappointed with our stay here and this hotel will be our first choice the next... More

Great location, lovely warm welcome and a member of staff ran after us to make sure all was OK as we left the hotel without taking breakfast. Got a great breakfast at a cafe around the corner for £5.95. The bed was enormous (room 3) and so many pillows we felt like royalty!! Had the best nights sleep for ages... More

Staff (spanish we think) were helpful and breakfast (english + assortments of cereals, yoghurts, tea, coffee and vegetarian options) all excellent! We will... More

I stayed here on 21st June for 1 night and thought the hotel itself was lovely. After booking through a third party site I received an email from James asking for a contact number and what time I was due arrive (something that I feel shows great customer service from the off). Due to traffic I was running late but... More

Terrible experience at the Regency. Website completely misrepresents what is actually a ropey old guest house with some tired kitsch rooms. Completely overpriced. This hotel is lazily trading on location alone and making no effort to fix things that have been brought to it's attention by previous guests. Room dirty, manager inordinately rude when challenged. I can only imagine he... More

We stayed at The Regency Hotel for 1 night on 10th June. We received a warm and friendly welcome from James. He showed us to our room (# 3) which was clean, spacious and beautifully furnished & decorated. It offered a huge 4 poster bed and a balcony which we enjoyed sitting out on - as the weather was warm... More
