Had a last minute chance to have a couple of nights away and my first choice was Brighton. Spent only a few mins searching for hotels before finding this one, and needless to say it lives up to its name. The staff are all so friendly, with one of barstaff lending us his phone charger when we'd forgotten ours. The... More

Called up the hotel to try and book as the website will not work on my phone!! Very friendly from the word go. We stayed the first night in a superior room which was nice. The only downside is there was no bath and the bathroom was very small. The room was nice though and bed was huge! First night... More

During December my partner took me to Brighton and we stayed as we normally do at Legends. We where staying for 3 nights. We had a room on the 2nd floor and even though we opted for the bigger room with no sea views it was a good size. Clean and the bed sheets where Cotton and very clean. Bathroom... More

Reluctant to post a negative review for a hotel I have stayed in before & enjoyed. But this stay was dreadful. Booked a junior suite for New Years eve for myself & a friend visiting from the States. Wasn't informed this room was on 1st floor directly above the bar & terrace & nothing on the hotel website made reference... More

Dear TripAdvisor member RS1964, Thank you for taking the time to review us. Firstly I must apologise that I wasn't able to contact you, unfortunately the message was not passed on due to illness. A friendly hotel with a great spacious room. We had no problems with the sliding door to the bathroom which other guests have seemed to encounter. The room was very warm but we had three windows to open. Bed was comfortable and facilities good. Breakfast also good but a little over cooked. We visited the bar which was also very... More

The Hotels location is so ideal. Near the lanes, pier and wonderful sea view. The room was a good size and clean. All the staff were lovely. Great overhaul service and friendly personnel. Breakfast in the morning was very good. I will be returning very soon

Stayed here over Christmas. Lovely staff. Basic rooms but ample. Would stay here again. The locals were lovely and Christmas day was a treat too. The hotel has lovely views of the beach and is a short walk from the train etc.

Spent two nights here, good location, staff fantastic, breakfasts brilliant, spotlessly clean - But -traffic noise in the rooms that front the busy main coast road dash any hopes of a decent sleep as does the excessively high volume music from the bar area into the early hours if you are unlucky enough to be on the first floor. Sorry... More

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the last few years, and it's a gem. It is situated on the seafront. Some of the rooms are small, but they are immaculately clean. Most rooms have sea views. Breakfast is always top notch. There is a great bar open until the early hours. I've stayed in various hotels in... More
