Spent three nights at Brighton Caravan Site (as it's now called) in early June 2003. First time camping in about 20 years. Staff were very helpful at all times and site was spotless and well lit at night. Tips for your visit: 1. The approach road to the campsite is not well lit at all. You'll need a torch (or... More

We have just returned from a weekend of camping, and I have to say we had a fab time. Upon arrival the staff were very attentive friendly and enjoying a joke with myself and each other, they gave me a discount card for restaurants in the harbour and time table for the bus into Brighton, (however as the site is... The staff are rude and most unhelpful. We stayed there over the last bank holiday weekend and were appalled. We watched the staff shouting and yelling at one camper telling him he had twenty minutes to pack up and get off of the site. At first we thought the camper had done something really wrong but it turns out he... More

We stayed with a motorhome on a hard pitch and after some confusion of where we could and couldn't park ( white pegs, not red pegs) we got settled in. Its an easy walk down to the Marina which is full of pubs and bars, and a reasonable walk into Brighton ( but if you are lazy you can take... More

Stayed at Brighton Caravan Club site (Formely Sheepcote) over May Bank holiday, site was quite full but had no problem with showers etc never had to wait, stayed in Caravan so can only comment on that part of the site, not the tent area. We have stayed at this site previously and have found that in general it is a... More

It's a great location - close to Marina with shops restaurants and a supermarket. Easy travelling to Eastbourne for day out and easy for Brighton for Pavilion (worth a look) and shops. We used a hard stand - grass pitches closed. So you needcappropriate pegs for awning which we didn't have with us. Our pitch was close to reception and... More

Our first ever stay at a Caravan Club campsite and I have to say that we didn't have very high expectations! At £84 for 3 nights just outside Brighton, we'd resigned ourselves to a muddy, unorganised, basic campsite. I'm delighted to say that this couldn't have been further from site we arrived at. We were lucky enough to be sited... More
