The customer serve was terrible, but what was worse was the way the receptionist spoke to us was rude and the language was unbelievable there is also no... More

The overnight stay here was just that, very short and accommodating for somewhere to lay our heads for the night. Although the room that I had was very quiet and comfortable the other room that the family had was situated where there was a lot of noise. Not comforting at all. However, the staff were very pleasant.

As a young female quite happy to have fun I wouldn't say a bit of noise from surrounding clubs would bother me but being put in room 116 (obviously positioned directly above the hotels own club) bothered me massively!!!!!! The noise (and vibration through the walls) was nothing I had ever experienced before!! I can't believe the hotel staff have... More

my husband booked this hotel as part of a birthday surprise. Disappointed by the way they had no where for anyone to park and the only place you could was along the seafront which cost us £15 . We where also right next to a night club which was very loud and we could hear everything that was going on... More

Probably the most beautiful view in Brighton, directly in front of the pier. Don't come here with the car, otherwise you will need to pay 10 pounds per day and no guarantee of slot. The shower needs a while to get warm and the room does get cold at night, since they economize on heating. The service is very friendly... More

It wasn't the hotel but the night club that it is attached to.they have put the tables in the club so you feel like you are eating in a cave,& the food was served wrong.vegetables were brought out first so by the time you got your main the veg wad cold. I had the vegetarian option that just looked like... More

This hotel is in a great location, opposite the wheel and pier and a stones throw from the lanes. Whilst for short stays location is all important, it's even better if you have a nice comfortable place to go back to after a long day on your feet. Unfortunately, this isn't the place to spend nice relaxing downtime. The rooms... More

12 of us stayed at New Madeira Brighton for a hen weekend booked through Hen Heaven agency. Acceptable standard of guest house and was fit for purpose, although very tired and in need of refurbishment. Having said that hotel was clean, rooms (although for 4 people) were acceptable with comfy beds and towels provided. Full breakfast provided including cereal and... More

It must be a rather difficult task to take upon, converting a late Victorian residence into a hotel without being invasive and massively intruding on it's infrastructure and changing much of it's original charm and character; then if one is allowed to proceed with the alterations, how much is one actually allowed to change? These and possibly many other questions... More
