We were very excited about our stay here, having heard about it in the papers and seen the photos on the website, but really disappointed in reality. The decor is quite shabby and slapdash in places and bears little resemblance to the photos. The mattresses are poor quality, as are the sheets and towels. For 130 pounds a night, I'd... more

We arrived at the Pelirocco for a 1 night stay in Brighton over the Easter break. As the much banded about term ‘boutique hotel’ I was expecting a lot more from this hyped up bed and breakfast. When we arrived we were told to take a seat in the adjoining bar area to complete check-in. What we were amazed at... more

Something of a Brighton institution, the Pelirocco was one of the first of the city's boutique hotels. Each room has its own theme, ranging from the Durex Playroom to the Pin Up Parlour, styled after after Diana Dors. It's a great hotel for people wanting to stay out late -and after hours the hotel's own bar is often open and... more

we stayed here for 2 nights to enjoy a fun weekend in brighton. it claims to be a hotel but it is a fairly scruffy b and b. the room was like a back packer dormitory. the radiator didnt work, the service was poor as was the breakfast. it claims to have a trendy bar but it was just cheap... more

Just go there. It's amazing. The staff are lovely and can't do enough for you, the place is beautifully decorated and we had the BEST time here- their breakfasts are TO DIE FOR!! It's steep at £120 a night, but it's worth every penny- I honestly can't believe it's taken me since April to write this review. Just, go there.... more

We stayed here for 1 night in September to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. We enjoyed the atmosphere at the hotel and the breakfast was pretty filling. The rooms are starting to look a little bit tired but are still good fun. We stayed in the Diana Dors tribute room which had a chaise longe and sea view. Like the... more

I stayed at the Hotel Peliocco last week and I loved it. I booked the Durex room for 2 nights. Good points: The room has its own pole dancing area, a huge curcular bad, mirrored ceiling, seperate lounging area with PS2 + Plasma, a MASSIVE bathroom with double shower heads over the massive bath. Staff are really friendly. Breakfast is... more

Well, I booked a hotel here in Febuary for a valentines day suprise for my beloved. We stayed in the absolut love room. I booked it before reading 'some' reviews and was slightly weary as I'd spent quite a bit of money on a 3 day stay and with only a 50% money back if you cancel. However, after a... more

Enjoyed this hotel. We stayed in the Ocean Room and liked the fact that it was something different to the generic 'Travelodge' breed of hotels. The room was a really good size; the bed was comfy; we had a sea view and a bar. Admittedly the broken lift was a bit of a pain and the hotel is a bit... more

The breakfasts were fab and the staff were lovely but when you are paying over £120.00 per night (150.00 for the friday night) I expected a bit more for my money. The rooms we stayed in (bettys boudoir and the pussy parlour) were quirky but definately more shabby than chic and the bathrooms were dreadful....the water wouldn't drain away quickly... more
