Our son has recently moved to Brighton and we were looking for a home from home that we could use when we come to visit. The Lanes hotel what a mistake! The room was tiny - to say the decor was tired is an understatement. The bathroom was a broom cupboard grubby and really tatty. The lights by the bed... More

For the money we paid we knew it wasn't going to be the best hotel room ever, however we weren't expecting our room to include one of the hotels main fire exit routes. As you enter the room you are confronted with another fire exit door which leads out onto the fire escape. To top this off, just outside the... More

On a recent business trip, I stopped over night in this magnificent family owned and run hotel. I was made to feel at home from the word go, and the staff really did everything possible to make my stay a pleasant and memorable experience. My room at the rear of the building had been newly refurbished, and was extremely comfortable,... More

This is right on the seafront - about a 15 minute walk into the heart of Brighton. Lovely view of the sunset over the pier. There really is limited parking, as with most Brighton hotels. We didn't get a space in the car park (which is just 5 spaces squeezed in front of the hotel) so paid £14 to park... More
