We were continuously impressed with the staff and accommodations at The Lanes Hotel! They were extremely helpful with giving recommendations and directions, and helping take care of us and our sunburns from the beach! If we're ever in Brighton again, this is where you can find us!

We booked here for three nights as we love Brighton and I thought this hotel was excellent value for money. We managed to get a free parking space here for three nights, bit of a nightmare to get out but we managed it, when you think you can pay £25+ for a days parking in Brighton, it was great to... After arriving at a horrific pre booked hotel we luckily found this place, staff were very friendly and helful, made my eight year old feel at ease. Rooms old fashioned but most importantly spotlessly clean, and everything we needed, stayed in two rooms and both no nasty surprises. Breakfast was included and was great for what we needed. If you... More

Very good location near Lanes, Pier, etc. Little dated as to locks on doors of rooms. Only problem was with the breakfast. Eggs almost un eatable. Wonder why they served such poor food when with a little effort could be much better. Then would be an excellent place to stay.

Pleasant hotel in fab location. I liked this cosy and comfy hotel in Kemp town. The bed is comfy and the back rooms are silent. I was efficiently booked in at last minute as I decided to stop over in Brighton. I highly recommend wandering around the lovely neighbourhood as it's quirky and very welcoming too.

A very old-fashioned hotel (think Fawlty Towers but with friendlier staff). Room was quite OK and, for the price, was great value. Was not booked by me, but seems that we paid very much less than the published prices on display. Probably worth paying a little extra to get the sea view. Very central location. Maybe worth noting: no wifi... More

My friends and I recently stayed at the lanes hotel for a hen weekend. The staff were so lovely & friendly, the rooms were nice & clean, had a great view of the pier. It wasn't too far to the shops/clubs/bars, about 15 minute walk. If in heels you may prefer a taxi though! Only downside is there is only... More

19 ladies on a bank holiday hen weekend and all had an enjoyable stay. Checking us all in was fast efficient and a doddle. Our rooms were very clean and spacious with tea and coffee making facilities ( a must for us older hens ) and plenty of cleans towels throughout out stay. We had planned a picnic on the... More

We have just returned from a two night mid week family break. We thought the hotel was good value for money -£50 a night inc breakfast. The location was great and the staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the building and found that it was quiet at night. Breakfast was nice- a reasonable choice of hot/cold options and...
