Staying in Brighton for the weekend, needed a nice room to sleep in and thats what we got. Tidy and functional. WiFi was a bit hit and miss. No PG Tips!!!! Over all a pleasant stay. Staff were very friendly. Sea front just down one end of the road shops and buses at the other end. £5 ride from the... More

Lots of very strange aspects to this place. Hard to know where to start. It is not a hotel but a house that lets out rooms. I searched for a B&B online and this popped up. Only thing is....it doesn't do breakfast! Good start! The landline number given appears to be shared with someone called "Frank", who kindly gave me... More

Lichfield House is only 20 minutes walk from Brighton Pier and the main shopping street is at the top of the road. We used Regency Secured Parking which cost us £ 16 a day and was a 10 minute walk away. Lichfield House itself way a bit tired looking outside and in, however the bed was clean as were the... More

I travelled down for the brighton marathon april 2015, booked the room in May 2014 (11 months prior) to get an email 2 weeks before my stay saying they have overbooked and will put me up in the seafield house in Hove (which was pleasent enough) but a further mile or so from the marathon start and finish. The reason... More

Mother and daughter birthday shopping weekend, 2 night stay spoiled by grotty and unacceptable facilities. Basement room with ensuite facilities. NOT! shower cubicle and wash basin in same room. Shower cubicle door covered with wrapping paper! The toilet was separate but to tight to close door while on toilet unless you want have door touching your nose. Electric flushing toilet... More

Had bad luck with our room - toilet didn't work throughout the first night so we had to use the toilet in another room. They promised to repair it - 2 days later the same problem so they told us to stick our arms done the watertank to flush it. Compensation was promised but not received anything - even so... More

Not the best for access if on the upper floors - narrow staircase. Wif-fi didn't work in 4th floor room but did on 3rd floor steps. Street parking was crowded and resident only from 9.00am in some streets, incl the one we parked in - easy to miss the sign. Expected a 6pm arrival or advice of later which is... More

It's located close to the beach, which is great. The place itself looks quite plain and ordinary from outside, the lack of a proper reception is odd but it didn't pose a problem. The staff are very nice and friendly. I stayed in a superior double room for two nights, the room was large, bright and spacey. The bathroom was... More

Such an odd guest house. It's in a great location, sea 2 minutes away, shops, cafe's & bars also only a couple of minutes away. Parking is a nightmare, I by chance got a space on the road outside as someone was leaving. As it was before 6pm I had to pay. It is free after 6. I rang the... More

We booked a Superior Double room at this hotel. There was nothing superior about it. We asked for a double, we got two single beds pushed together with sheets and quilts that did not fit so ended up lying on the mattress. The paint was chipping off the walls, there was no proper wardrobe, we were on the 3rd floor... More
