A great location, especially for anyone attending an event at the conference centre which is very close. The Granville is an excellent hotel with very welcoming staff and a very nice bar and restaurant, excellent breakfasts too.

Decent hotel in a great place on the from opposite the west pier. Lovely room with high ceilings and nice bed, sadly we weren't looking out to sea! Only downside was the bathroom that was a box in the room. It was well proportioned with decent shower, but a little dated and in need of a deep clean, through it... More

I booked this trip as our dog had just died and we needed to get out of the house. When I called a asked for a room that gave us a cuddle as we were feeling really sad and I didn't think hedonistic would do the trick. We were given the Pavilion room, which really was a cuddle. Amazing views... More

The location as great. The staff were wonderful. The room was a good size considering our young daughter was on a fold-out bed. The highlight has to be the breakfasts! I am vegetarian and wheat free and I was automatically catered for with their standard breakfast menu and I had a choices of things to eat - this is very... More

We booked this hotel as it had some great reviews. It's in a good location on the sea front and the decor is kind of cool and quirky (very dark walls throughout). The hotel staff were very friendly and booked us a taxi to a local restaurant on the night we stayed as it was pouring with rain. Our twin... More

There is more to like than not like in this quirky hotel. + s are the great location, large rooms, efficient but friendly staff, wi fi access and downstairs restaurant, Smokey's, where the delicious and varied breakfast was also served. - s are that some of the decor is a little scruffy and dingy especially the staircases. Also the over... More

My first impressions were not good. I wanted to like it, I really did. After taking our luggage off the small lift we followed the maze to our room. It also involved nine stairs to drag suitcases over. The room, The Downs Room, was small and tired looking. The floors really squeaked. We were warned that if we needed a... More

Sitting at Granville's eating my way through a huge plate of perfect eggs benedict. I've had a lovely one night stay on business. I ate in my room, had a jacuzzi and watched telly - looking out over the most sensational view of the sea. Would come back
