lovely location in brighton, beautiful sea view room, keep looking to the left, its not the hotels fault there is extensive building work taking place outside to the right. great to walk out after breakfast straight on to the prom. we stayed in the prince regent room, very tired decor and poor quality bed and bedding. the bathroom was below... Prince Regent - Boutique style room, very clean with nice quirky touches. Bathroom could do with some refurbishment. Fantastic sea view. Staff very helpful and attentive. Reception area a little dismal. Breakfast was excellent. Would return.

I stayed here recently with friends as was very impressed not only with the room but the service we received from the staff. It's a great seafront hotel with lots of charm and character (I would highly recommend the Lewes Room) and the prices are very very reasonable for such a great location. I would be more than happy to... More

Love the seafront view although there's a monster out front at the moment some shuttle or something being built but even so there's views to the left of the pier. Pricey at £175 a night as top hotels basic rooms are this price. BUT and here's the BUT. If you are on a romantic break believe me this is where... More

Old building, full of character but with modern conveniences and boutique style rooms. Friendly, helpful staff, clean and adequate rooms with good size bathrooms. Bed was comfortable and had everything I needed. Great breakfast, free wifi and close to everything Brighton has to offer.

Stayed here whilst attending a conference at the Brighton centre (2 mins away). It was about a 10 minute stroll down hill from the railway station opposite the old pier and very close to the shops. Access is via a ramp and there is a lift if you don't fancy the stairs. Very friendly staff welcomed us and allowed us... More

We stayed here 2 nights-- and glad we chose this place over the adjoining Hilton. This place has character and style. Unfortunately, we could not get the sea facing balcony room, guess they were full. We were greeted by a very friendly gentleman and shown our room promptly. There is lift for your heavy bags. Parking is nearby (paid). Hotel... More

We hadn't stayed here for about 4 yrs, We were welcomed back like old friends and not guests. We were in the Japanese room, our 3rd stay in that particular room. (Our different opinions settled by their records, Brenda was correct). The staff are so lovely and having a vegan cooked breakfast outside in the sun was lovely. The restaurant... More

Really charming hotel; Room was big and comfortable, clean and we had a fantastic sea view. The staff were very polite, friendly and really attentive during our stay in June 2015. Services the most fantastic breakfasts, even for our vegan friend! Nothing was too much bother and I would completely recommend this hotel to anyone wishing a great stay

Stayed for a weekend break in June 2015. Hotel staff couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and the Balcony room we were upgraded to was perfect. It's a great alternative to soulless chain hotels, full of character and nice touches.
